Nothing about the Surfbreak!!

Cons:

We were oceanfront over the restaurant getting all the food smell and smoke. They moved us to the 7th floor over the same smell and smoke without a flushable toilet. We moved again to the 1st floor with a walk through balcony for guest. We moved from 401 to 711 to 101. We had to buy a bath mat so that we could stand to take a shower, there are no grip strips in the tub, we were afraid we were going to get hurt. This was the worst stay @ Virginia Beach that we have ever had.

We really loved being so close to the beach and loved the view!

Fabulous few days right on the beautiful beach and we could walk to anything we needed/wanted!
Pros:

The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location being right on the ocean with easy access to the boardwalk and beach was amazing! Also loved the on sight restaurant/bar which had a great happy hour and was a wonderful place to dodge a few rain showers.

Cons:

Bed was a big saggy so made it hard for two people to sleep together well.

Very Fair - if I knew beforehand it was part of Choice Hotels I wouldn’t have booked there.
Pros:

Location, size of room adequate

Cons:

Check in was terrible, veey disappointing and frustrating. Couldn’t get safe to work, had issues last day key fob wouldn’t work. Paint in bathroom ceiling is chipping off. Balcony concrete needs a complete do over
