Staff. Particularly Kiran on reception who was fantastic, from check in to check out the service he provided and the attention to detail was on point. Really good breakfast too.

£5 charge for breakfast to be delivered to room so loaded a tray and carried myself. Not enough small snack meals available on the bar menu. Coffee from machine in restaurant was not as good as hoped.

Have nothing to say bad about the Marriott
I stayed in the king room on my first night and upgraded to the suite (they have just one in the entire hotel) on my second night. My review covers my entire stay. The rooms are a decent size; the suite has an additional toilet and shower. The view from the suite was amazing.
Breakfast was just okay; they could provide fresh pastries. The croissant was definitely not fresh on my second morning, which was a Monday.
Regarding parking, I do not understand why they charge for this, given their location.
Their only suite was in a poor state upon arrival; one of the toilets was very dirty and the other did not have toilet rolls.
The charging points in the suite were insufficient, and some were round, which is unusual in this country.
A dirty plate and bottles from the previous occupants were left in the corridor during my entire stay in the suite.
The suite was tired but had some modern touches here and there. I certainly did not feel like I was in a four-star hotel.
The most shameful thing is that I made sure to speak to the manager, Gedas, and all he said was that he would speak to his colleagues. I was disappointed in his lackadaisical attitude/lack of concern, and there was no apology whatsoever. I actually thought to myself that he must think I was just making a fuss.
Anyway, next time I want to treat myself to a staycation, I will avoid this hotel.
