Nothing really
There were dead bugs in the room. It had a fun smell in it. The door to the balcony had a space around it
Only thing I liked was leaving.
When we checked into our first room we found a blood stain on the mattress. They also turn the AC off when people aren’t staying and the room was at 80 degrees. After we told them about the blood stain they moved us rooms. Our next room smelled so bad of marijuana and had bugs. After that we left this place and will never be back. Don’t waste your money here.
Great staff.
Everything was great
Nice location st the end of the strip. Trolley stop right out front. Room was nice overlooking the river . We loved it there. The staff were all great too.
The location on the river and its proximity to all the attractions was great.
The room was really in need of upgrades. The bathroom is less than ideal. The cleaning staff only brought new towels. The beds were never made and the sheets were never changed. The tv was less than desirable. The hot tub was out of order, so we didn’t get to enjoy it.
The location of the property was wonderful.
The property is outdated (especially the showers), the air conditioner didn’t really cool the room, and the overall cleanliness wasn’t great.
Location
Short walk to all the fun places
Balcony fun to look at River
Noticed the AC was turned up in room upon arrival. After first day , maid came to clean and turned off AC and strange smell was in room. Not sure what happened but when we turned AC back on -smell wasn’t as bad?
Also balcony and walkways were very dirty and could use a power wash.
Where should I start First, we chose this hotel to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. We picked a hotel that had a river view and was located outside of the main grandstand. On Saturday, June 6th, I purchased a shirt from Gatlinburg Harley-Davidson. My wife picked out this particular shirt because it reminded her of her dad who had recently passed. The shirt was removed from our room on Sunday. I'm not sure if it was removed by accident or something else. When we notified the front desk clerk, she said the hotel manager would reach out to us the following day (Monday). The following day came and went, and no one called. So, my wife called the hotel asking to speak with the manager. The front desk clerk would not transfer the call to the hotel manager. Next, front desk clerk basically called my wife a liar, stating, “no one removed the shirt”. JUST TO CLARIFY, I’M TALKING ABOUT A $38 SHIRT, NOT JEWELRY, NOT HIGH DOLLAR ITEMS, A DAMN SHIRT. The clerk said that the hotel would wave their service fee, and that was it. Only $26. Second, the room was adequate, but the room service was subpar. The hotel offered complementary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. However, both the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty, and we ran out of the body wash. It was never refilled The room was standard size, nothing fancy. Bed was average, as for comfort. The TV had several blocked channels, but we didn't care much, since we weren’t there to watch TV. Coffee! We had a cup of coffee the 1st morning, but the coffee was never restocked. Third, SPIDERS! As I stated above, my wife and I chose this hotel for the balcony and river view. On the first night we wanted to sit on the balcony and listen to the river and have a few adult beverages, only problem was, when it started becoming dusk, several spiders started crawling out of the walls. OMG! They were building webs and crawling above our heads. My wife lost her s+×÷. This was our Anniversary. The only good thing I can say about this hotel was the breakfast. That wasn't bad.
The breakfast was the best thing about this hotel

Breakfast wasn’t as it was stayed -appeared in promo on booking site for hotel - grandkids that were with our group were disappointed daily no pancakes on buffet-same exact items 3 days in a row - pouring couple cups of milk for kids always emptied milk pitcher - individual sizes would be more efficient
Breakfast items - lack of functional shampoo-conditioner pumps in bathroom - hot tub under maintenance
I chose to stay here because it was on the river and walkable to town & many activities. I had a room overlooking the river, but it's also next to the road which was noisy at night. The Inn could use some maintenance and updating. My room had what looked like mold around the bathtub, dirty floors & bleached stainded blanket. The other issue was an additional Environmental fee that I was charged at check in, I prepaid for my stay 3 months prior and that was never mentioned. I called the City Clerk and asked if this was City or State implemented, and was told it's done individually by the hotels. I did argue this & they refunded me. The positive was the front desk woman who was very understanding and helpful.
The staff was very helpful & friendly . The breakfast was very good.
The carpets are very stained & dirty throughout the facility & need cleaned & the concrete walkways all need repainted. This would greatly enhance the facility.
Clean and convenient to town. Loved that the trolley stop was at the hotel! Beautiful river views! Breakfast was very good!

This place is old and tired. I fully expect that on my next trip to Gatlinburg it will have been torn down and replaced with a modern facility. One entire set of outside steps was closed as being unsafe. It had extensive cracks in the concrete. This made Room access from the parking areas awkward and a long distance. We won’t be back.
