Perfect place for exploring Suffolk and the surrounding countryside.
Pros:

Everything, truth be told. I am a musician and was in the area to play in nearby Beccles. Having arrived before the official check-in time, I assumed perfectly reasonably that I’d simply wait until the appointed time to do so. But the staff ushered us to our bijou room a couple of hours sooner.

Describing the Swan as a motel somehow doesn’t do it justice .. or maybe I’ve just watched too many American road movies. It’s in a lovely setting, very well appointed and it more than surpassed our needs and expectations.

A great little motel, nice rooms and courtyard area, great value.
Pros:

Friendly staff, let us have access to rooms at 11.30 so we could change before going to a wedding and a great breakfast. Perfect!

Staff very welcoming, comfortable room with supplies, all ideal for a two night stay.
Pros:

Room was clean, we were supplied with bottles of water in small fridge and plenty of coffee, tea sachets which are always needed! Bed was made, room tidied and supplies replenished after first night. Enough space. Staff were all very helpful and service was good at breakfast.

Cons:

It was all very neat, clean and comfortable. The mattress a little soft but can't please everyone! The shower didn't have an adjustment for heat.
