We loved everything about Locanda Don Serafino. The staff were incredibly accommodating, affable and organised the most incredible restaurants, places to visit and bars to visit. The rooms were delightful and so comfortable.

Breakfast room needed more staff
Thought we had booked a cave room (pictures and description implied) but ended up in a fairly ordinary refurbished apartment up the street (junior suite)
Really lovely small boutique hotel in the historic centre of Ragusa within easy walking distance of the main square
Staff were incredibly helpful with parking the car , restaurant booking suggestions and overall making our stay very enjoyable

A localização é boa, apesar de muita subida pra ir pro centro histórico. Ficamos na suíte da caverna, que é legal mas tem uma acessibilidade complicada com escadaria pra chegar nela. O café da manhã foi bem gostoso!
O quarto da caverna onde ficamos, tem muita umidade e tem um trocador de ar que fica ligado 24h e que é muito barulhento, então é complicado dormir. O colchão estava ruim e o quarto tem muita umidade… o quarto é bonito e interessante, mas não é confortável. A varanda que mostravam nas fotos do booking fica na verdade em cima do quarto, tem que subir uma escadaria externa para acessá-la.
We stayed as a family of 6 in 3 Junior suites.
It is an old building with an eclectic mix of rooms.
However I think they have oversold at least one of these rooms as a 'suite'. It is a standard double with a tiny bathroom (one has to climb over the bidet to use the shower).
Another of the rooms was very humid, smelly and damp. A dehumidifier was required and needed emptying 3-4 times a day. Not good for anyone with respiratory issues.
The staff are helpful and the location is good. However not good value for money.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The place was clean and convenient. The rooms were a bit unusual as this is a beautifully converted historic building. Hotel staff were cordial and helpful.
The only issue we encountered was that the workers in breakfast room were somewhat inconsiderate and were just unbelievably noisy, almost intentionally smashing the dishes around when washing or stacking them. Made for a very unpleasant breakfast experience.
