A True London Gem
Pros:

This is definitely the best place to stay in London.
The location is perfect, but what makes it really special is how it feels. It feels like home! warm, welcoming, and still very elegant. The interiors are beautiful and everything is done with great taste.
The breakfast is honestly the best in the city. I’ve stayed in many top hotels in London, but this one is truly the best.

The staff are so kind and gentle. This is my second time staying here, and I will definitely come back again.

Special thanks to the reception team — you really made my stay special.

Pros:

1. Відмінне розташування.
2. Чемність персоналу (через це не поставив готелю одну зірку з десяти).

Cons:

1. Проблема була у тому, що в готелі система кондиціонування працює або тільки на тепло, або тільки на холод. І ці режими переключаються в ручному режимі працівниками готелю. Правда з'ясувати це вдалося не відразу, і замість відпочивати після довгої дороги, прийшлося займатися цією проблемою. Згідно пояснень персоналу, зараз календарна зима, тому налаштування кондиціонерів включені на тепловий режим. І у себе в номері ви цього не зміните ніяк. Тому, в першу ніч ніхто не виспався. Ми повідкривали вікна на ніч, відповідно зранку всі були покусані комарами.

Слід зауважити, що на другий день нас таки переселили на інший поверх і в інші номери, де все таки змогли переключити наші кондиціонери на холодний режим.

Вперше взагалі стикаюся з тим, що ти не можеш собі сам у своєму номері регулювати температуру на свій розсуд.

2. Шалені комарі в номері і відсутність в готелі засобів боротьби з москітами. Обов'язково брати засоби від комарів. Я шукав і докупляв на наступний день самостійно.

3. Відсутність шумоізоляції. Обов'язково потрібно заселятися в номери, вікна яких виходять у двір, а не на вулицю. Якщо цього не зробити, то спання не буде цілу ніч. Хоча це не врятує від шуму з коридору чи сусідніх номерів. Ви навіть будете чути як сусіди ходять в туалет, не кажучи про все інше.

4. Будьте готові до того, що спальна ковдра не одягається в підковдру (наволочку) з двох сторін. Ти просто накриваєшся звичайною простинею, а зверху на ній лежить гола ковдра. Звісно після години спання, ця простиня де завгодно, тільки не на ковдрі, а ти вкриваєшся брудною ковдрою, якою до тебе невідомо хто користувався.

Chambre très agréable
Pros:

Calme, propre, moderne et bien situé.

Cons:

Douche grande mais pas pratique, il manquait un joint au niveau de la porte donc on met de l’eau partout, et joints du bac à douche à rafraîchir également. Manque aussi des infos sur le rooftop et son petit déjeuner. Il n’y avait pas non plus les prix du mini bar dans la chambre.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel in a prime location
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in a great location, close to many of Palermo's sights and only 3 blocks from a Hop-on, Hop- off Bus stop ( stop #1, Red Line). Very cool and modern ambiance in the lobby (most of the ground floor) and breakfast room/bar/restaurant occupying most of the 8th (top) floor. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

First, the parking garage, an almost essential amenity when staying at Plaza Opera in Palermo, is only provided "as available" with a very limited number of parking spots. Further, the hotel parking is provided in a garage across the street and the guest is expected to self park in the underground facility with narrow passageways and very tight corners, with only one entrance/exit, forcing one of the vehicles, when going opposite directions, to back up into any available space, to clear the path.

Second, the breakfast room (in am)/bar-restaurant (in pm) is woefully small for the number of potential guests - we were asked to make a reservation for breakfast to ensure we had a seat. There are additional tables outside on the terrace, which are probably the best seats in the house in the tourist season, are not appropriate in the fall or winter due to less than comfortable temperature, wind conditions and/or precipitation.

Finally, although a desk was provided in the sleeping room, the lighting was inadequate for working at the desk - there were no overhead lights nor any desktop lamps.
