Front counter staff and the BS

Cons:

Staff insist that all people need id. This is not the case in Australia and the staff were short with us and tried to make us feel at fault because only 1 in 3 of us had ID, being me the booking person. My wife and son should not be made to feel embarrassed at at fault for not carrying photo id.

Pros:

Friendly staff at checkin.
Room size was spacious with the king bed, kitchenette and a settee. Bathroom nice and clean and the shower had great water pressure for a decent shower.

Close proximity to the CBD, train station, malls and multiple eating places and bars.

Would definitely stay again.

Cons:

Carpets were showing wear and could do with replacing but wasn't a deal breaker.

Great location, impressive service.
Pros:

The buffet breakfast options were very good and the hotel location right in the middle of the CBD was excellent. The reception was 24hrs and it was excellent that we could leave our luggage at reception from morning checkout till we collected mid evening for our late flight home.

Cons:

The bed would have been more comfortable with a mattress topper. Our Fridge/freezer had no door on the freezer, so it was a choice of frozen milk or unfrozen icecream, which was annoying.

Great location

Cons:

It was old and dated and cupboards etc had bits and pieces missing. Not much storage. Very sparse. Curtains inadequate to keep light out at night. Very old fixtures and fittings. Very dark even with minimal lighting on.
