Charming hotel. A very comfortable lounge bar and a fantastic view of the sea from the dining room
A business conference was being held at the hotel during our stay. On arrival for breakfast at 8:30 on Thursday and Friday, little of the buffet remained. Bread baskets empty, cereal dispensers empty, fruit salad bowls empty, no yoghurts remaining. Many tables hadn’t been cleared and the staff were rushed off their feet trying to accommodate the arrival of non-conference guests. At dinner, hotel guests were seated at the back of the dining room, leaving all the tables with sea views for the conference.

Public transport extremly underdeveloped. Getting to/from by car, meaning stuck in traffic most of the time.

Le dîner , la salle de restaurant lugubre, le personnel qui semble bien triste, et le repas n'est vraiment pas exceptionnel, qu'attendent ils pour faire intervenir un décorateur et dépoussiérer ce qui date d'il ya 70 ans ?? et changer le cuisinier?? ... La salle des petits déjeuner est plus éclalrée, donnant sur la mer, le choix est restreint, figé, sans intérêt gustatif... dommage. Pisicine et plage de repos superbe, devant la mer, avec une vue magnifique.

Morgen mad : personale var ikke vel organiserede, der manglede ting, vi skulle selv , og mange andre lede efter kniv og gaffel . Borddue var ikke rene. og virkelig lørdag den 2. morgen buffet var ren kaos.

Access to the sea was denied and not mentioned at time of booking that it was going to be a construction zone. For Sicily the food was sub par and way more expensive than 100s of better restaurants in the Catania area. 80% of all meats served are listed as either bought frozen or flash frozen on site. And you could tell. Pool was said to open Friday and was but the next day it was drained more than halfway down and un-useable. We had Lufthansa change our flight due to problems beyond our control and had to leave a day early. Hotel didn’t care nor give us a comp or refund for the day we weren’t using. The first two girls at the front desk became angry as more questions were asked. Stay away from this titanic relic.
