Cheap but not a positive experience.

Sheets and towels were clean

Cons:

Main door to reception looked very grubby, tired looking decor in reception and room. Stayed for 2 nights during the week and both nights kept awake by occupants of the next room shouting swearing and banging around in the room. I know this isn't the fault of the hotel but there were no phones in the room so no way to call reception to complain without getting dressed and going downstairs.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and fell far below expectations.

The photos advertised online were clearly not an accurate reflection of the property — they appeared highly edited or AI-generated, and the reality upon arrival was completely different. The hotel itself was in a very poor condition, with rooms that were basic, dated, and noticeably lacking in cleanliness.

There were clear signs that the property has not been properly maintained or refreshed in quite some time. A thorough deep clean, along with significant refurbishment and redecoration, is very much needed throughout.

In addition, the overall level of professionalism was not what you would expect. Staff presentation and service did not reflect a standard consistent with a hotel environment, which further impacted the experience.

Overall, this was not a pleasant stay, and we would not return. Based on our experience, we would advise others to proceed with caution before booking.

The TV in room was broke the picture was distorted. The bath had hairs in. The WiFi was rubbish. And the breakfast was awful.

Pros:

Good sized room and comfortable bed. All very clean.

Cons:

You could hear doors banging in the corridor as other guests came and went so controls on the doors to stop them slamming would be good. My neighbours were quite loud so you could hear voices and a child up until about 10.15pm.

Great location very close to the safari park and taxi ride into the town. The hotel's excellent room and breakfast was good. Made my birthday.

The room was great thanks to the staff for making my birthday weekend great with the upgrade to the suite room and breakfast included. We will be back here again. 😀

A good value hotel.
Pros:

The rooms were large, as were the beds and the latter comfortable.
The staff were welcoming and helpful. The price was good value and includes breakfast.

Cons:

Not essential for us but we did discover that the TVs were not fully working.
