Mantra Southbank Melbourne

Not up to Accor standard at all. Bad customer service and the cleanliness of the apartment left alot to be desired. Bathroom filthy. Stove top dirty. I could go on. Front Desk Duty Manager rude & unwelcoming. Loved the location though.

If the other rooms is as good as the one we had, this is a good hotel in a good location. Friendly staff, good buffet breakfast with excellent barista coffee

No view, our room was right near a lift where the housekeeping kept their smelly dirty washing trolley 24×7. We asked to change rooms, but they were supposedly fully booked for the cricket season.

Pool was warm, but the floor super slippery.

Breakfast buffet was the same every day. Quite ordinary and the brewed coffee was tasteless.

They allowed us to store out luggage which was helpful.

We had a very pleasant 4-day stay here. Clean apartment (though decor somewhat gloomy) , comfortable bed and roomy bathroom with easy access to onsite car parking. Perfect location - easy walking distance into the City and Gardens and direct access to Southbank, River Cruises & Restautants
A big 'shout out' to the front desk staff who were very friendly and most accommodating in meeting our request at a particularly busy time for them & we would like to thank the staff involved - much appreciated. Pool looked great but we didn't use it.
Would definitely stay again.

Rooms in desperate need of a good clean!
Dust everywhere, walls, skirting boards, floors were filthy, windows were disgusting.
Beds were terrible and so uncomfortable!
There is also no bench space in the bathroom, with a family of 4 this was annoying! We had the corner room, one room was quite small the other one not much bigger. Wouldn’t stay again!

Beds were comfortable view was amazing unit was clean.

Cute apartment, everything we needed. Happy to give us extra towels for the pool. No mini bar but there was an ordering option. Pool and spa were nice! Sauna was relaxing. Good access to pool. Gym looked well equipped.

The first room we were given was so stinky that we had to ask to be moved to another room. The new room didn’t smell, however it was in poor condition where the shower head fell off and the toilet roll holder was broken. Pillows were extremely uncomfortable and the room felt dusty and worn. I don’t know how they get a 4 star rating. This hotel needs a complete renovation and fix up. Will not be returning.

Bathrooms dirty and whole property needs freshening up. Did not think it was value for money. Dispensers in bathroom for soaps/shampoo etc empty. Low quality hotel.

Excellent, quiet and convenient hotel. Clean and very quick check in.

Requested extra blankets and they did take a few hours to arrive.
Location to city and crown was excellent

Great location & near the southbank river. Staff were all so friendly & let us check in early after we had a long flight.
Rooms were lovely & swimming pool great on the top floor.
Breakfast was ok, but could have done with more choice.

The kids loved the heated pool and spa, its a 5 minute walk from Flinders station and there are plenty of dining options around. The noise from City rd was manageable. The southbank boulevard playspace is also a short walk away.

Beds were great… was a little noisy at night due to our room location facing city rd but got used to it.
