Pros:

The room itself was huge and beautiful. Was clean and we were given 4 extra pillows. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The outside of the hotel is in need of much care. The pool area was cluttered and the pool itself was dirty. Seems like the outside of the hotel and property has been neglected…not sure if it’s off season, but definately did not look like the pictures on line.

Pros:

Beautiful palatial building with huge room and exstensive grounds. Super convenient for Herclaneum. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I was made to feel truly welcome, and offered excellent local advice about things to do and see.

Cons:

I could say that the bath/shower wasnt the best. But I didn't mind. Its a charming place to stay.

Pros:

Chambre spacieuse, magnifique parc,belle piscine mais un peu verte.

Close to the ruins
Pros:

Good location, very spacious rooms, the staff is super friendly and breakfast is good.
My room had a bath and shower.
Windows open all the way, which was great, I travelled in September, weather is hot during the day but it gets a bit cooler at night.
The bed was huge

Cons:

It clearly needs some investment and attention to detail. It has very good bones but it has been neglected, door handles loose, ugly plastic plants ruining the beautiful building, and a dirty pool.

Has a swimming pool, large bedroom, parking on site, close to train station. Would have been beautiful back in the day

Very run down, in need of a lot of attention, breakfast average, pool bar is a wooden hut, no lounge bar as stated

Bei der Anreise wurde uns sehr ungenau der Parkplatz an der Rückseite des Hotelgebäudes zugewiesen. Den fand man auf Grund der Spachbarriere des Rezeptionsmitarbeiters anfangs nicht. Bei der Auffahrt haben wir uns auf Grund der sehr hohen Kante fast den Unterboden aufgerissen. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer gebucht, was uns auch zugewiesen wurde. Plötzlich kam der Hiteldirektor und führte uns in ein anderes Gebäude und wir bekamen 2 Doppelzimmer. Das haben wir nicht verstanden. Der Direktor konnte nur sehr schlecht englisch, also mussten wir die Zimmer nehmen. Das zwang uns dazu, dass je ein Elternteil und ein Kind in ein Zimmer zog
Das Bad war recht gross und hatte einen sehr großen Spiegel. Der WC-Deckel war eingerissen ubd nur mit einer Schraube am WC Becken befestigt.
Die Duschwanne war defekt, so dass man sie lieber nicht betrat.
Die Klimaanlage kühlte leider gar nicht, so dass man bei offenem Fenster schlafen musste, 2as extrem laut war. Der Verkehr in Ercolano ist extrem laut, auch nachts.

Das Frühstück war miserabel. Leider kann ich es nicht anders nennen.

Es gibt ein sehr kleines Weißbrot und Toastbrot. Eine Sorte Käse und eine Sorte Wurst. Melone und Ananas war das Highlightm der Kaffe war dünn wie zu DdR-Zeiten. Alles war ständig leer und musste erbeten werden. Die Tische wurden ewig nicht abgeräumt.

Wir sind wirklich nicht anspruchsvoll, aber für fast 600 € für 3 Nächte haben wir weitaus mehr erwartet.

Vakkert hotell, som bærer preg av en storhetstid, for lang tid tilbake. ....
Pros:

Beliggenheten, parken, og hotellet generelt. Utsikten mot kysten er fantastisk.
De ansatte var veldig blide og serviceminded.

Cons:

Aircon virket dårlig, og det var 37 grader. Parken er vakker, bassenget er deilig, men hotellet mangler tydeligvis penger til vedlikehold. Ingen av solsengene var i orden, og det var ikke vann i fontenen rundt om kring.
