Stay at Paramount as your last stop.
Pros:

Shanghai is our first stop touring Zhejiang.
Manager Albert and his team really made our stay a wonderful experience.
Other hotels for the rest of our tour is pale in comparison.

Pros:

Location is very good, 5 mins to under ground subway station. The hotel room is big and clean. Two managers Mr. Chen & Mr. Wang are very helpful. All staff members are very nice.

Personnel from all departments -- from doormen to reception to concierge to room service to restaurant staffers -- all showed professionalism and great care to hotel guests. The level of service tops any 5-star international hotel chains.
The breakfast buffet is a delight. Though not the biggest spread, the quality of food is unparalleled. I love the pastries, they are all made in house.
Special thanks to the head chef and Yoyo Meng at the restaurant.
The paramount Gallery Hotel is going to be my hotel of choice in any future Shanghai trip.

Staff is very helpful and can comunicate well in English.
This is my fifth stay at this hotel in last 12 months. Shirley Ma in breakfast room always welcoming to me and take soecial care of my dietry needs . Always make my stay like home.because of her i look going for breakfast.

Pros:

Very happy with the hotel especially the services
But needs newer carpet, wardrobe and bathroom doors, and sufficient fridge and at least one English Channel for news since there are a few of foreigners staying

Pros:

The location was good. Metro station is within walking distance and there is a shopping mall next to the hotel. We stayed on the 19th floor and we could hear the street performers singing from evening till closes to 9pm every night. The staff at the hotel were all friendly except the one standing near the carpark gantry at level one. Bedroom was comfortable and clean, breakfast variety was good for our 7 nights stay.

Amazingly well taken care and friendly staff all round..especially front desk..very helpful and a trainee staff helped us with taxi ordering although off duty..This hotel deserved all the hood reviews on their page..location is great too.Thank you to all staff at Paramount Gallery hotel.keep up the good works..

Excellent Stay
Pros:

One of the best locations in downtown Shanghai. Short walking distance to subway station. Variety choices of foods in surrounding area. Comfortable bed. Staff are friendly and polite. Most of them speak English. A special appreciation to Albert Huang( customer relationship manager)who was extremely helpful and proffessional. Will return in near future.

Fantastic hotel
Pros:

This was our returned visit within one year because we enjoyed our stay last time in March/April. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff is wonderful. The supervisors work hard and make sure we are well look after. In fact the senior staff recognized us as soon as we arrived this time. We will return again in a week's time because we love this little gem. The staff makes a big difference

My second stay in this hotel. Good location, lovely rooms, excellent breakfast with fantastic friendly staff. Shirley Ma who works in the restaurant was extremely helpful and friendly, as well as Cici Peri and Allen Dien provided excellent service during our stay. They gave us useful advices and even help us to organise some shopping. The smiling, professional staff helped us make our day every morning. Definitely come back again.
