Location
I didn’t like a lot fake pictures of motel! Pool was dirty with green algae all in it not in use water wouldn’t get hot not what i paid for
The pricing, and the location.
The elevator was outdated. The restroom shower faucet was holding on by a thread of cocking making it hard to shower with out fearing that it was going to fall off the wall. The curtains to the room wouldn’t close and the ac unit fan was rattling all night long
It had good breakfast and breakfast area was clean.
Sheets were clean
The elevator was broke and so you had to take the stairs that had ripped up stained carpet and smelled.
All the ice machines were broken.
No warm water for showers (a tinge over freezing cold)
Curtains torn
carpet in hall and room dirty.
Walls dirty.
Poor lighting in hall and room (probably to hide the dirtiness)
Pool green

2nd time i stay good area
Elevator was not workin and room was in 3rd floor
The location is in great proximity to TXST and The staff was genuinely the best part of our stay. Everyone we interacted with was kind, friendly, and helpful, and I appreciated their willingness to assist us when we needed something.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself needs significant attention and updating. When we arrived, there was no one stationed at the front desk. Instead, there was a phone with a sign instructing guests to call for assistance so that an employee could come to the desk. It appeared that the front desk staff were also responsible for duties elsewhere in the hotel, which was concerning from the start.
The elevator was out of service, and our room was on the third floor, so we had to use the stairs throughout our stay. While we were physically able to do that, I immediately wondered how this would be handled for an elderly or disabled guest. Making matters worse, some of the lights in the stairwell were out, leaving portions of the stairs very dark.
I was also concerned about security. The exterior doors we used appeared to remain accessible without requiring a room key, even later at night. Combined with the dark stairwells, this did not make the property feel particularly secure.
The hotel itself also felt very dated and poorly maintained. The carpeting throughout the property was extremely old, there was an unpleasant odor, and the AC in our room sounded as though it was struggling to operate. The shower curtain did not contain the water properly, so water leaked onto the bathroom floor when showering. The phone in our room was not connected and did not even have a cord available to connect it. There was also no iron in the room. When I called to request one, the staff member was very kind but explained that they would have to see if they could locate one from another room.
There were cleanliness concerns as well. The inside of one of the lampshades had a very noticeable dried substance on it that looked as though it had been there for quite some time.
I want to emphasize again that the staff members we encountered were wonderful. They were pleasant and helpful, and my complaints are not directed toward them.
Good
Ice maker wasn’t working. Elevators weren’t working. Pool was dirty.
Smelled bad
Location was great!
Elevators did not work. Rooms smelled horrible. Smelled like mold was growing in the AC vents. My husband works in the HVAC field and he called it as soon as we got in the room. There was some dirt or something in the ice when it came out of the ice machine.
Na
The shower curtain did not fit the shower and water spilled all over every time someone showered
Location and staff
Air conditioning not working efficiently
I did not stay at the property it was disgusting and very busy.
There were ants in my room. At checkout, I mentioned the issue to the front desk attendant, and she responded as if it had been an ongoing complaint. And the sad part of it all, is my room was on the 3rd floor! So, I'm sure ants are all through the building.
Then, when I loaded my vehicle with my belongings, there were ants in my car.....lots of ants. I looked down on the ground, and the ants were covered on the ground.
Outside the ants issue, my stay was pleasant.
