Quick stay while traveling.
Pros:

Originally went to Hampton Inn but they were full. They sent me to Spark and it was just fine. Totally comparable to my favorite, Hampton Inn. I understand they are both run by Hilton

Cons:

Some bedding was missing, and didn't care for the bathroom door being a "barn door".

Pros:

Staff was nice, room was cleaned. We were close to a lot of places.

Cons:

We killed 5 stink bugs in our room by the window. You guys should place coffee makers in the room.

Cons:

Arrived, went to the desk to check in and nobody appeared for 15 minutes. When she finally showed up she was rude. Never apologized for making us wait and didn’t even greet us.
The headboard had grease or something all on it from someone resting their head back.Room smelled.
Then we were charged $5 for parking even though there was no security. So what was the $5 for. She couldn’t tell us.
Coffee was not good and the orange juice tasted like water with orange food coloring. I expected more from a Hilton brand because the Tru hotels are excellent. This was our first Spark and I’m sure the last.

Bait and switch...55 dollars in hidden fees at minimum.

So...ive stayed at this hotel twice. And to my knowledge have yet to be refunded my "deposit" and then on top of that i found out the 2ND time I stayed that I was being charged a "parking fee".....to park in the parking lot!?!?!? Thats ABSURD its not stated during the booking or anything like that. Its just dropped on you when you get there! Thats like being charged to take a shower, or to watch tv! A hidden parking fee to park in a basic parking lot...not a garage or anything....just ...a parking lot.... totally absurd. I probably wont stay here again unless this is corrected unless its absolutely necessary. The room itself was great...but to charge me to park in the parking lot and then not refund my.deposit which is ALSO not stated in the booking is diabolical!

I will not return to this hospitality brand after two regrettable experiences.

Upon arrival, I politely requested early check-in due to travel issues or at least a safe place to store my belongings, but the receptionist was rude and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and not welcomed.
