This is the worst hotel experience we have ever had.
Cons:

This is definitely not a five-star hotel. The building is in poor condition and in urgent need of repairs, there is mold in the bathroom and a terrible stench. It was impossible to stay there. We were moved to a different room since the first one was simply unsafe to stay in with a child, but the new room had such a strong smell of sewage in the bathroom that we couldn't use it. It was very noisy at night, making it impossible to sleep. The hotel looks good in photos and is fine from the outside, but the condition inside the rooms is appalling. The food in the restaurants is also poor quality. This is the worst hotel experience we have ever had.

Would stay again.
Pros:

Spacious. Location.
Close to Benidorm but far enough away.
Managed to eat in the Italian restaurant when it happened to be open on a very odd occasion and it was excellent. Service and food was fantastic.
Pool was lovely and quiet.

Cons:

Hardly any restaurants or bars open despite only being September. Only buffet most nights which we don’t enjoy so ended up going out for dinner most nights. Would have preferred to stay on site.
Charge for cabana beds which seemed ridiculous when there was only 6 guests round the pool each day.

The staff were attentive. The location and building were good.

Cons:

For a supposedly 5 star hotel. The buffet breakfast was very poor. The cooked breakfast was cold and the majority of the food was aimed towards the dutch market. The restaurants were mediocre at best. Prices were reasonable. But if they charged more money maybe the quality would go up. Also I was told that the parking would be discounted from 22€ to 11€ a day. They charged 22€ a day. Also one of the restaurants took a 20% tip that I did not authorize. The lounge facility was not forthcoming at reception. And also how to enter and exit the exclusive areas was not explained at reception. For a 5 star hotel I would have expected to not have to lug my luggage to my room. Not really a 5 star resort. As a discerning customer I would have expected a lot more. I rate the breakfast buffet a generous 4 out of 10. I can not fault the staff or the architecture of the complex. I was also led to believe when I checked their website that it was adults only. Only to find out upon arrival that it was infested with children

Pros:

The amount of pools and things to do was really amazing. Just a beautiful hotel. Really big rooms. Really really lovely reception staff at The Level. We had an amazing time

Cons:

The free lounge area at The Level felt understaffed (often tables filled with dirty plates and glasses). The room service menu could definitely do with some more healthy options. The aircon vents definitely need a clean!!
