Will not be staying at a Hilton again. For the amount of money paid, was not impressed by amenities.
Pros:

It was convenient to where I needed to go the next day

Cons:

1. There was no water pressure in our shower, not enough to get a shower. We were the only room affected & no other rooms to move to. Maintenance would not come after hours.
2. Toilet got clogged during middle of night & no plunger. Had to call front desk to get one at some point.
3. Upon check in, our door was cracked open & tv was on like someone had been in there or was coming back.
4. A lot of construction workers were staying there & wondering on our hallway. They even had digital access to rooms to get in if needed.

This place has really deteriorated!
Pros:

This property has declined a lot over the past 3 years--another instance of an owner not investing in upkeep. Best thing about this place is its proximity to Cadence Arena. People were fine, but physical property was a mess. Directv or any kind of TV service went out at around 9 pm and is still out at 9:30 the next morning as I write this. Heating unit in room is raggedy; carpet throughout the hotel looks filthy; tub and shower showing rust spots; soap dispenser pulled from bathroom wall leaving an unpainted spot with 2 holes underneath. No full compliment of towels in room, "buffet" breakfast that was actually prepared and served by one lady served with cold biscuit and cold fries. Won't be staying here again until I get word of major improvements.

Disappointed.
Pros:

Location. This was the second time we stayed at this location during our annual vacation trip.

Cons:

Cleanliness. First room we went into had the bathtub did not drain well. We transferred to another room and it had a strange odor. Some staff were very nice and helpful, some were not.

The toilet was broke. We were on the renovation floor. Called for it to be fixed and 6 hrs later it still wasn't fixed. Called again and maintenance had left. We had to leave at 11:30 p.m. and travel back home so we would have a toilet that works. We arent even sure if we will be refunded our money. We have to wait till a manager comes in on Monday. We were in the room a total of ten minutes... maybe.

Pros:

The Hilton Garden Inn Tupelo was a very nice hotel, especially for the price. It’s conveniently located and close to everything we needed, which made getting around easy. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the room was huge—clean, comfortable, and well laid out. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Tupelo.
