I stayed at the Prince d’Angkor for a week and the best feature was the staff, all of whom were friendly and helpful (maid service as well as front desk and restaurant/bar). They helped us organize some tours and gave a great first impression of Cambodia.
Our room was attractive, clean, and tidy, with effective a/c, and the small balcony was nice to have. Bottled water was replenished each day and paper could be flushed in the toilet. The breakfast buffet was consistent; nothing special but adequate in selection and quality with both Asian and western choices, and on the day we left early for a sunrise trip to Angkor Wat the hotel packed a (free) breakfast for us.
The pool was clean and uncrowded, and the poolside bar was nice to have, although the loungers were busy in the afternoon, and the bar cocktail recipes were sometimes … unconventional. Despite that I recommend the happy hour 2-for-1 drink deal!
I chose this hotel over some closer to Pub Street because of the space, and décor, and to be in a slightly quieter area, and would be glad to come back for another stay.

There are many things to love about this hotel, and that would be the fabulous enormous pool and the lovely staff. And there are some things that could definitely be improved. They are minor things that could make my review a 5-star. My list:
1) Since we can't put toilet paper in the toilet, please have garbage cans that can be closed.
2) How about containers of shower soap and shampoo instead of teeny tiny tubes.
3) A soap dish for bar soap so it's not on the wood bathroom counter.
4) A better breakfast buffet with fresh bread and pans that keep food hot after it's cooked.
All in all, it was a nice hotel for a good price and if you want a nice pool, this was the place. The location was also great near Pub Street and eateries.
