Célébration de mes 40 ans en famille
Pros:

Absolument tout, la localisation loin du marasmes de Maspalomas, le calme du lieux, le golf, les piscines, la salle de sport, la suite, la diversité des plats qui sont très qualitatifs ainsi que le respect du staff et des clients, il y avait un mélange entre couples et familles avec enfants qui cohabitaient parfaitement c’est de plus en plus rare.
Le staff de l’hôtel est au petits soins

Est-ce possible de ne pas aimer quelque chose dans cet établissement ?
Juste parce que je suis français et qu’il faut dire quelque chose, je dirais que le check-in à l’arrivée était un peu long mais tout le monde etait arrivé en même temps (environ 30 personnes)

Luxury without the chaos
Pros:

Some places help you switch off. Salobre Hotel Resort helped me breathe again.

From the moment you arrive, everything about this place feels intentional. The calm. The space. The silence. The way the mountains stretch around you while the palm trees move in the wind. It honestly feels like a hidden world tucked away from all the noise of everyday life.

One of my favourite things about Salobre was how every area gave a completely different experience. The resort is built across several levels with multiple pools spread across different floors, so everywhere you go there’s another peaceful space to relax. Every single pool and relaxation area overlooks the mountains and hills, and the views are honestly breathtaking. Sitting on the daybeds taking in the landscape, the highs and lows of the mountains and the stillness around you felt grounding in a way I can’t fully explain. Peaceful doesn’t even begin to cover it.

The hotel itself is stunning. Beautiful architecture, scenic walkways, cabana beds, hidden corners to relax in and views everywhere you turn. Even with families and children around, it still somehow maintains this serene, luxurious atmosphere where everybody can enjoy their own version of rest without it ever feeling crowded or chaotic. The kids’ play area and children’s pool are such a thoughtful touch for families too.

Breakfast was honestly an experience on its own. Endless options, fresh fruits, smoothies, yoghurt, cereals, hot food, pastries and even champagne at breakfast. Every morning felt like a treat. I especially loved the fresh smoothie and fruit stations and the made to order egg section.

The rooms were modern, warm and cosy with beautiful earthy tones that matched the entire aesthetic of the resort. Even the bathroom design felt luxurious and calming.

What really stayed with me though was the feeling this place gave me. The clarity. The stillness. The ability to genuinely slow down, reflect, reset and just exist without pressure.

Salobre Hotel Resort is not just somewhere you stay. It’s somewhere you feel.

Very disappointing.
Pros:

The resort is located in an interesting area overlooking the golf course. It has a unique design and the food options are quite decent. The pool on the 11th floor is for adults only, which is nice considering the amount of children that are at the resort.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the resort was definitely not good value for money. Our bathroom had a strong sewage smell that seemed to not only be a problem in our room but other rooms in the wing because we heard other guests complaining at the reception when we did. Most disturbingly, we had two small cockroaches and one large cockroach in our bathroom. For a resort charging 400 euro per night (not even half board) and not even being able to ensure that there are no roaches in the room is unacceptable. We complained at the reception and as a compensation, we got access to the spa area, but this was far from an acceptable compensation.

Still great but in need of a refresh
Pros:

I have visited this hotel several times and the staff are always welcoming especially Aitor who has now been promoted to management. The hotel provides everything we look for but has become a little tired and the quality and range of food seems less than it was. Nevertheless it is hard to find a hotel offering such a friendly environment and challenging golf course.

Schöner Aufenthalt in einem abgelegenen Hotel
Pros:

Frühstück war gut, Abendessen war Buffet - hier waren manche Speisen gut, andere haben weniger den Geschmack getroffen. Mitarbeiter waren stets bemüht.

Cons:

Baustellenlärm in der Nähe, weite Wege am Hotelgelände, im Restaurant war der Geräuschpegel relativ hoch und so gut wie alle Tische haben gewackelt, Aussicht vom Hotel war mMn nicht der beste - speziell vom Rooftop(pool)

Overall ok but not 5 star resort
Pros:

My 3rd visit to this hotel and probably will be my last as a solo traveler. Staff great and attentive. This hotel has really lost its 5 star appeal with rooms very tired and food plentiful but less desirable options with hardly any labels for a vegetarian. The room pictured was classed as a deluxe suite with outside balcony more basic than deluxe. Tried to ask at reception to see if anything could be done about the room but was greeted with communication barriers. Overall Nice hotel but not a 5 Star serenity hotel.

Pros:

We’ve just returned from a week at this hotel and can’t recommend it enough.
Everything was spot on.
We were welcomed on arrival with a complimentary drink - which really set the tone for the week.
The breakfast and dinner buffets were outstanding. I don’t eat gluten or dairy and I had no problem at all. There were plenty of options on the buffets and if I wanted it I could order pasta, pizza and bread in the evening and bread and/or crepes in the morning. (I can highly recommend the crepes.) Gluten and dairy free desserts were limited but there was always at least one option.
The room we had was lovely. Spotlessly clean, very well designed, decorated and furnished. We pre-requested a specific room as we wanted morning sun. This can be done on their website.
The hotel is very remote which makes it very quiet but there’s a shuttle coach down to Maspalomas a few times a day, which we used twice. The second time to visit a pharmacy, which the coach driver actually drove us to and waited, which we were very grateful for.
Even though the hotel is quite remote you can walk the perimeter of the golf course (not on the golf course) which is approximately 4km.
Plenty of choice of classes, which I attended and a very good gym, which my husband used regularly.
Overall a very, very good holiday. Staff were friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble.
We would definitely recommend and definitely hope to be back one day very soon.

Cons:

Ich hatte eine Lebensmittelvergiftung und die Mitarbeiter waren teilweise extrem unfreundlichen und unmotivierten. Die Rezeptionistin hat bei unserer Ankunft nichts erklärt und nur auf eine App verwiesen.
Die Sauna musste man zusätzlich zahlen.

Pros:

We had several stays at the Salobre and we enjoyed every single one. The hotel and the facilities are spotless and inviting, the staff genuinely friendly and helpful. We play golf and also enjoyed the golf course. We will definitely come back.

I will be back again
Pros:

2nd visit standard room (upgraded on first stay to a suite , worth it if you spend time in the room) the hotel is laid out well , always a place to sit on your own if thats your thing, lots of pools and sun beds ,most of the guests are out playing golf so not busy during the day, food is good and plenty of choice. In my opinion it's a great place to stay (you need a car if you want to explore) noticeably busier this visit, hopefully it won't spoil a great place
