Nothing !!!
Some of the staff, especially one of the female employees, were very kind and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, and the breakfast offered good value for the price. The hotel's location was excellent, right in the city center.
Unfortunately, our experience with the staff was inconsistent. One of the male employees was not particularly friendly, and in general the staff rarely greeted guests when passing by.
The room lacked basic amenities such as a refrigerator, coffee maker, and iron. It was also quite small, and the bathroom felt outdated.
The biggest issue was the elevator, which frequently stopped working. As a result, we had to walk up to the 14th floor several times, which was extremely inconvenient.
Another unpleasant aspect was the reception area, which often smelled strongly of heated or refrigerated pizza, making the entrance less welcoming.
rooms basic but clean
some of reception staff abit rude. We had issue with room card were told we were not in that hotel !!!!! and the card we had was not from the hotel !!!! we were given this card from reception which she was told, then came back to say that we were in that hotel with no apologies....not friendly at all
Very near to station and pubs
No parking
Do offer reduced parking but 10 minute walk away
I loved the air con, very needed at the moment, and its closeness to the station. Very comfy beds too.
I said I’d had a knee replacement but nobody offered to help me to my room. I don’t like lifts. Otherwise the staff were lovely, maybe I should have asked for help.
Great location . Warm friendly staff.

pulizia da rivedere
Consistent cleanliness and welcome from Reception staff - room was wonderfully comfortable and my kind request for newer pillows was honoured too - most grateful - thank you
An excuse for me paying £50 more than I did last time for 1 nite stay was because of Ascot - which is in Windsor - Reading is quite far away and I found that Poor - even looking to stay again - it seems that every time I stay the price goes up £50 per nite at this hotel which is very sad as I wanted to make this a regular place for me to stay when I visit Reading.
