The room was comfortable and clean, and the bar area + light meals met our late evening needs.
Pros:

The lounge/bar area, and the related food menu; Staff service in the bar very friendly and good. On site free parking.

Cons:

Our stay was for ten nights, and we were in UK from overseas for 3 weeks, as such we had a lot of luggage + clothing, the clothing storage in our room was totally inadequate for our purposes.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room service from the restaurant, thank you Laura!

Cons:

The lovely central courtyard wasn’t being used, although they did kindly let us sit out there. It is much nicer than the bench tables in the garden area and would look lovely with just a few fairy lights and plants in the empty hanging baskets. I guess they use it for weddings and parties, but seriously it seems a shame not to use it generally.

Finding the room was unclear - location of lift was unclear - direction of travel around the first floor were not clear. I walked allround the floor to locate my room

Cons:

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and left me with a sore bank in the morning. The air-conditioning switched itself off twice in the night causing me to wake up hot and having to get up to switch it back on. There was no warning until our arrival that there was a wedding on at the hotel playing loud music until 12:10am, with our room I believe bring directly over the function room. Breakfast was average at best, with no pastries left. Not good value for the £151 we paid for the night!

Pros:

All staff were attentive and welcoming. Hotel is situated in nice welll maintained grounds.
Room was a good size, clean and tidy and nicely decorated and equipped. Bathroom was also very nice.

Cons:

I booked a Superior Room with air conditioning knowing I would be staying on one of the hottest days of the year. Unfortunately the AC did not work. Also when you opened up the fridge door a light came on but that too did not work.
Management did offer us a different room but the AC in that room was also faulty.
The AC did work in the bar restaurant area but too well. I got cold sat there whilst eating.
Next morning I did spot some staining on the bottom bed sheet.

It was a good stay,the staff great & would book again

We thought the staff on arrival & departure were great.Very friendly & helpful.

Cons:

We came back after the wedding around 10ish & even though we could buy from the bar the tea/coffee machine wasn't available. Also it would of been a nice to have some bottle water in our room
