Bedrooms breakfast snd staff vety good.. Enjoyed the spa facilities.
Thought the charge was high to use the spa facilities for two hours. Have been to many hotels and used the spa facilities not been restricted with time and not been charged.
Breakfast was served by friendly staff and the views were great over the golf course and the Clyde. The bar staff were also pleasant.
People should be aware there is no lift in the premises because of historic nature. We were moved room after speaking to reception staff a d explaining were both had injuries which made stairs hard for us. They moved us to a room on an upper level. This meant we could drive up to the top car park. Then enter the room on the level. The restaurant and bar were also on this level.
Every member of staff we hard contact with were pleasant and took time.e to speak with us.
Nice coffee machine in the room
No access to spa facilities at convenient times
The location is stunning
For the price for room only I expected more of a wow, it was just an ok.
The staff were absolutely wonderful—truly kind and courteous people. The room was impeccably clean. I would especially like to mention the bartender, Vasilius, who was exceptionally friendly and polite. He helped us choose drinks and prepared them perfectly.
Unfortunately, the room did not have air conditioning, and it was genuinely very hot—we could hardly sleep because of the heat. However, this was only a minor issue compared with how wonderful our stay was overall.
Everything was the best hotel I’ve been to in Scotland so far and I’ve been to around 20
Nothing, staff were great the wee dram room was lovely to sit in at night and
Executive twin room was amazing. Immaculately clean and a spectacular view over the Clyde. Large beds and super comfy for a great night's sleep. Close to the M8 for easy access into Glasgow and picture perfect location.
