Beautiful hotel with amazing spa facilities
Spa is lovely
Put a complaint in not happy with outcome wouldn’t return
Beautiful location, room was perfect & stunning decoration throughout the hotel. Spa is a must visit.
Most importantly I find it poor you need to pay to use the spa even if you are staying at the hotel. My suggestion would be if a payment is a must it could be half price or staying guests can use spa next morning before checkout if paid full price the day before.
The room we stayed in the shower was not great. Not much power.
Breakfast is not worth £19.99 & the ask for £3 extra if having a hot breakfast with salmon. Eggs Benedict we both had, muffins not up to much & the bacon was very fatty.
The breakfast food was lovely.
Disappointed overall, hotel was recommended by a friend and we couldn’t wait to arrive. On arrival we realised that our dog wasn’t allowed in any restaurants/bars and our daughter wasn’t allowed in the swimming pool. It’s not exactly a pet friendly and family friendly hotel if the two main things you would want to do with your family you can’t. Was also shocked to realise that to use the facilities we would have to pay £25 pp and could only do it between 7-9am and 5-9pm. It seems the hotel would rather favour spa guests than hotel guests. Deeply disappointing when this was a recommendation and it was for our minimoon. Could have got something that was actually family and pet friendly for cheaper.
Location & new spa
Rooms not clean, dirty marks on door and broken furniture
Spa was average for the price you pay
Food gave my partner food poisoning. Tried to charge me £150 for a curtain pole that was already broken. Staff were rude
The spa was beautiful
Not much to do in the area
Beautiful surroundings
Nothing
Waffles were shop bought which was a big disappointment. My wife is from America and that’s a big No from her. DIY Waffle maker or chef recommended
Coffee needs to be barista choices.
Rest of the meals. Dinner and lunch are superb
Toasted burger bun was a real touch of class
Breakfast as mentioned. And coffee
Spa facilities were nice
Our stay at Gleddoch was extremely disappointing and far from the birthday night away we had planned. The room was freezing cold even with the heater on and was not clean, with hair left in the shower and the sink plug removed exposing a dirty drain. The toilet would not flush properly and the TV did not work. We also had a terrible night’s sleep due to constant loud banging from the room above, people running through the corridors and talking outside our window. To make matters worse, housekeeping woke us up by aggressively knocking on the door for several minutes half an hour before check-out. Overall a very poor experience.
