Brilliant experience
We stayed for 5 nights, the hotel was very clean, beautiful, modern and deceptively big. The food was excellent, there were different cuisines on different days and the variety was fantastic.
The staff were excellent and customer service was on point! The room we stayed in was very clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable, it was a really good hotel to spend our anniversary! There was themed entertainment every night.
Big shout out to the beautiful ladies at reception - Michelle, Eleanor and Keira, who were extremely helpful and were able to assist in arranging the use of the conference room for my online hearing for work, whilst out there. Fantastic job, not a bad word to say at all - would definitely return, 10/10!!!
We had an amazing stay at Mayfair Hotel! The entertainment was fantastic bingo, mini disco with the screen, and dancing created a great atmosphere. Mario and Stan are doing an awesome job - full of energy and passion! Water polo was great fun, and the food and restaurant were excellent.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear this hotel falls well short of any genuine 4-star standard.
While the reception area was clean and smelled pleasant, it felt bland and underwhelming—completely lacking the “wow factor” you would expect. The check-in staff were polite, but friendliness alone cannot make up for everything else that followed.
I was assigned one of the so-called “brand new” suites on the 4th floor and told I was receiving a complimentary upgrade. In reality, this was confusing at best, as the room appeared to be exactly what I had originally booked (ocean/pool view). If this was an upgrade, it certainly didn’t feel like one.
Despite being new, the room itself was incredibly basic and disappointing. It lacked even the most standard 4-star amenities—no complimentary bottled water, no basic toiletries like a shower cap, cotton buds, or even a shoe mitt. These are small touches, but their absence speaks volumes. The air conditioning didn’t work at all—the control panel was completely dead—and instead of resolving the issue, I was left to sleep with the balcony door open. The shower pressure was equally unacceptable, starting as a weak trickle and only improving days later, which is hardly acceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming 4 stars.
The biggest letdown by far was the food and drinks. The buffet was frankly awful—bland, uninspiring, and in some cases barely edible. After forcing myself through two meals, I gave up entirely and chose to eat elsewhere for the remainder of my stay. For an all-inclusive package, this is completely unacceptable. Even the daytime snacks were extremely limited (around four deep fried items – chips, chicken nuggets, bland/dry ham and cheese wrap or hummus wrap) and of poor quality.
The drinks situation was no better. The all-inclusive offering was restricted to low-quality, local options, including unbranded soft drinks that were practically undrinkable. The alcoholic beverages were equally unpleasant. I found myself repeatedly leaving the hotel or buying drinks elsewhere, which defeats the entire purpose of paying for all-inclusive.
Evening entertainment was shockingly poor, especially for children. Instead of actual entertainment or staff engagement, the hotel simply played YouTube videos on a projector and left kids to amuse themselves on an open stage. This is lazy and far below what should be expected at this level.
To make matters worse, there wasn’t nearly enough seating in the evenings. Unless you rushed to secure a table by 6pm, you were out of luck. Guests were left standing or forced outside—even in the rain—or had no choice but to leave the hotel altogether. I was informed by staff that the hotel capacity is 920 yet seating is only available for 350 guests.
Daytime activities were listed on a notice board, but there was little to no effort from staff to engage guests or promote participation. The atmosphere around the pool felt flat and uninviting.
Overall, this hotel was a major disappointment and nowhere near deserving of its 4-star rating. The experience felt cheap, poorly managed, and lacking in almost every area that matters. I would not return under any circumstances unless there are significant improvements across the board. It was not good value for money, and I left feeling thoroughly let down.

This is our first time in Cyprus.
When we arrived, we got the local bus 612 which dropped us near our hotel and we used Google Maps to walk from the nearest stop. The local bus route was very easy to use. We used the buses to go to the harbour the market and tombs of the Kings. It also does go to the zoo.
The hotel was very clean and the rooms are facilities are well kept.
The entertainment with Stan and Matas was excellent and they provided a brilliant yoga class in the morning and fun for the kids with darts and archery in the afternoon. We especially loved playing the bingo in the evening.
The food in the restaurant was different every day, but the snack bar could do with improving as there wasn’t much choice. As I have a fussy child, we were lucky to be five minutes walk to the shopping mall which had many food establishments that he is accustomed to like Pizza Hut!
Swimming pool pools with kept clean and to love guards on duty daily till 6 pm.
We stayed at the Mayfair hotel for 8 days and overall had a very nice holiday. We found this hotel to be efficiently run by staff who clearly care about their guests. Check-in was quick despite us arriving with several other holiday guests. They provided a useful information sheet which told us all we needed to know about making the most of our stay.
We we booked a suite which had a very useful south facing balcony. Our room was spotlessly clean and and comfortable. We were happy for the cleaning team make up our room every other day.
Food was very good and the efficiency of the waitresses and waiters is to be highly commended. They worked hard for all the diners. And it was nice to see that snacks were provided throughout the day, and ice cream was served in the afternoon. All with no extra cost if you're all inclusive.
There was also a good good all-inclusive cocktail menu and in the evenings, the hotel provided waitresses and waiters who would come to the table and serve you drinks. This is not something that we often see these days. Hence, it was a nice touch for this hotel to provide this.
Evening entertainment was good. Our 6-year-old daughter enjoyed mini disco when led by Zoe. However, in the second half of the holiday, mini disco was done using a computer screen and our daughter felt it would have been better to have had a member of staff leading it.
The hotel grounds and facilities were very good. Although the outdoor pools were a bit too cold to swim in, the hotel did have an indoor pool, which is where our daughter spent most of her time. This is a really useful asset if the weather is changeable. The hotel also had lifeguards on duty.
We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone with a young family looking for a nice place to stay. All the staff were courteous, helpful, and hard-working. In particular, we would like to highlight Olga, Juliet, Loucas and Soma, all who helped make our holiday so special. Thank you and we hope to return again soon.

Great hotel and family entertainment in the evening. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Will definitely be visiting again..
Had a good time here. Plenty to keep the kids entertained. Pool was lovely even in April. Perfect for families with kids.
It was very clean and relatively easy to access. The pool is nicely position under the open sky, so there was plenty of sun. The cleaning lady was very diligent in keeping my unit clean everyday. The service at the front desk was exemplary!
The elevator was very slow, I ended up waking up and down from my room using the stairs.
I stayed at the Mayfair with my mum and little boy in March 2026. It was our first all-inclusive holiday and we had a great time. The room was spacious and the hotel clean and tidy.
The hotel has nice drinks and a variety of good quality foods at each meal to suit different tastes. Whilst there are some vegetarian/vegan options for main meals, I found on some days these were a bit limited and we ended up having more fast food, but I appreciate that the hotel possibly caters to a more carnivorous clientele!
The staff are lovely and very helpful, especially the kitchen staff, reception team and managers. I did find the cleaning staff a little abrupt at times (although one lady was lovely and friendly!) and we popped downstairs for something only to return and find they were already cleaning our room on the day of check out (before we were due to check out). I was a bit frustrated by this as I’d left my bag in the room for 5 minutes whilst we popped downstairs (not thinking anyone would go into the room), to return to find the door wide open for anyone to come in. My son’s sandals also went missing from the room, so I’d advise anyone staying there not to leave any valuables / lock special possessions in the safe.
I can’t comment on all facilities as we didn’t use the indoor pool/gym/spa but I do feel this hotel is good value for money especially with the all-inclusive element and would stay again.
We stayed at the Mayfair Hotel from 25th March and, after reading some reviews beforehand, we were a bit worried — but it completely exceeded our expectations!
The hotel was spotless throughout — rooms, restaurant, and bar areas were all very clean, and you could smell how fresh everything was each morning. The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Even when it was busy, all 12 of us were seated together with no problems.
The food was some of the best we’ve had at an all-inclusive, and the drinks were great too. The Flying Pig on-site is also definitely worth a visit — lovely atmosphere and good drinks.
A special shoutout to Georgina, who was amazing every evening and worked so hard looking after everyone.
5* from us — no complaints at all. We’d happily return!
