Hotel RH Corona del Mar

Your hotel is utterly brilliant. Great food great rooms great pool relaxing atmosphere friendly staff great food. Gear entertainment nice lounge. I love it! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay in Benidorm.

Very good stay and staff excellent but tv with British channels did not seem to be much of a priority for reception staff when we lost signal a few nights of our stay. This was a problem for but did not seem much of a problem for them.
Breakfast was excellent and always enjoyed our meals.

In the more ''up market '' location . You will not fault this hotel. The food is very very good .With all three meals there is so much to choose from. The rooms are kept spotless each day. And all the staff are very friendly..I have stayed in many 4 star hotels around the world and this hotel ranks as one of the best. And yes I will return. Stuart from the UK.

Our third year for Christmas at the Corona Del Mar. Beautiful clean rooms with fab views. The food is delicious and the staff wonderful. We particularly enjoyed the entertainment manager this year, David. He made the week with his antics and getting everyone involved.

Standards seem to slipping especially the dining service . Also our room looked tired. If you put your drinks to the room you get a 10% discount which makes all drinks reasonable. The concierge staff are all very good and will help where required. The housekeeping is good with room visits everyday. We have stayed here before and noticed standards dropping in the dining room service. Replenishment of food as it runs out could be quicker. On a number of occassions had to actually ask the maitre de to get our drinks as we were never asked by the waiters despite been spotted sitting down at the table. At breakfast we had to get our own cutlery because the table wasnt set on more than one occasion. Our room looked a bit dated clearly had been a leak on cieling corner and coukd have been decorated better. The radiator in bathroom all chipped of paint see pics. The water stations are still on every floor. Its expensive to stay here so standards should not slip. Would i come back yes i would but RH need to get a grip on the slippage.

A lovely Hotel, very clean, friendly staff who can mostly all speak English. Good food and reasonable prices. Well situated for easy access to beach and shops. We did not use the entertainment as it was not quite to our taste, but that is just us , no reflection on hotel. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Good value hotel in winter. Close to the old town and the Levante side of Benidorm. Friendly and helpful staff, although we missed some staff who were not here this time.
Food continued to be of a high standard. The bar lounge atmosphere and evening entertainment were unfortunately not as good as previous years.

Also requested a takeaway breakfast as restaurant was not open for breakfast before we left but no breakfast given although it was put on list at reception the night before

Had a lovely week at this hotel. Just got back today. Very disappointed this morning when checking out. We had ordered a breakfast box as had to leave very early. Reception said nothing was available. There were 4 of us in rooms 701 and 704. Had to leave on an empty tummy. Other thing that was not made clear was that every day the cleaner left 2 fresh bottles of water which we thought were complimentary. Today we had an extra 22 euros added on to our bill. This was for all the water 2.20 euros a bottle- we actually had bought s 5 litre bottle of water in local shop for around 2 euros. We would never have taken the water had we known it was not complimentary. Left us with a very sour taste this morning.

This was our second visit to this hotel and it we had another fantastic vacation. We had a very quick check in and agreed to charge our hotel spending to our room and you receive 10% off the drinks. You pay a deposit of €10 cash for your safe key and lock. Our deal was 11 days Full Board with a sea view room. The balcony was a sun trap and the weather was superb with temperatures ranging from 19C to 22C. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff work hard to maintain these standards. The food was excellent, extensive salad bar, theme days, various fish dishes, roast beef, roast pork, Chicken, Turkey. There’s pasta, pizza, paella, hotdogs, burgers. Breakfast had everything you would want. Entertainment was excellent and we were happy with the drink prices. The location is in a quiet area and faces the Poniente beach. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we will return ourselves.

We enjoyed our recent holiday here. All staff were very nice. The entertainment was good. David in charge of the animation was great. He made us laugh and was brilliant at his job, and we enjoyed spending time with him. We hope to come back sometime. From Maureen and John.

Lovely hotel, just a stones throw away from the Poniente beach with its quiet bars and boardwalk. Staff were brilliant the two weeks we stayed. My husband has a gluten intolerance and always found something to eat plus gluten free beer at the bar. David who was in charge of entertainment was so friendly and funny and had us doing all sorts of sports tournaments. A 15 min walk up from the hotel was the tram station which takes you along the coast to either denia or alicante the other way. We visited Altea, Denia, Calpe whilst we were there, which were all beautiful.

We have stayed at RH hotels in Benidorm on many previous occasions, and we have consistently found them to be clean, warm, and welcoming places. The Corona Del Mar was no exception. All areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean and well-maintained.

**Location:** The location of this hotel was perfect for us, situated in the old town, a short distance from Poniente Beach and just a few hundred yards from The Dove Park. Walking from the hotel to the old town shopping area takes only a few minutes, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Local buses pass by frequently, and the tram station is a 20-minute walk away, although uphill, the walk was quite manageable for these two pensioners.

**Rooms:** Our room (108) met our needs well. While many previous reviews recommend higher floors, we were on the first of seven floors, and this was perfectly fine; we had a sea view. The room was well-proportioned and included a bath with an over-bath shower. It also had a free safe, though there was a 10-euro deposit for the key. A fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities were provided, as well as a carafe for water that could be filled from a water machine on every floor. Wi-Fi was free and offered good speeds. Once again, the room was very clean and was serviced daily to a high standard. As our visit was in November, we didn't need the air conditioning, but it would be reassuring to have during the summer months. Overall, we found the room very comfortable.

**Restaurant:** The food was excellent, with plenty of choices and good quality. Although we were on a full board basis, we didn’t plan to use the restaurant for lunch but ended up doing so a couple of times; the food was consistently good from breakfast through to dinner.

**Staff:** The staff at the Corona Del Mar are its greatest asset. From the moment we arrived at reception until we checked out, all the staff were pleasant, friendly, and welcoming; they all spoke good English. The room cleaners always took the time to greet us each morning, and the bar staff were friendly throughout the day and evening. The waiters in the bar provided first-class service, being attentive and keeping the tables clean at all times, which was also reflected in the restaurant. Regardless of how busy it got, drink orders were taken promptly after arrival, and dirty plates were cleared away quickly. You can charge all bar and restaurant drinks to your room using the door entry card. This hassle-free payment method also gives you a 10% discount.

**Entertainment:** The entertainment was what you would expect from a Spanish hotel, offering a mixture of quality and variety. The resident animation entertainer, David, was funny, entertaining, and engaging—a real asset to the hotel.

**Facilities:** I did not use the pools or spa, so I am unable to comment on those.

**Conclusion:** I am very happy to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Benidorm who prefers not to be right in the “British Strip” of the resort. Would we stay here again? Absolutely! In fact, we have already booked a return visit in February and are looking forward to it very much.

We arrived at the RH Corona Del Mar and were greeted by very friendly and professional reception staff , The fantastic staff made our holiday , from the cleaners to the bar and dining room staff also David from animation who worked very hard to involve guests in games and dancing , he is so funny . We had a sea view room which was lovely . Hotel is positioned right near to the Poniente beach . The rooms are a nice size and cleaned daily and food was very good . Can’t wait for next year for our monthly stay .

Lovely hotel and rooms and excellent friendly service from staff pity could not get a sea view room and people let the doors bang when they go in the room s it's nice situation by the sea bus stop s near by shops excellent location

On arrival at the hotel you are greeted warmly by the lovely reception staff and this sets the tone throughout the entire hotel.

Location is fabulous barely two minutes walk to the beautiful Poniente promenade and its only a further 10 minute walk into old town Benidorm..for me the perfect location far enough away from the busier Levante area yet only a half hour stroll if you should wish to there
Buses are readily available to take you there from the stop a few minutes from the hotel entrance or to the fabulous shopping mall in the other direction.
Bedrooms are extremely comfortable and offer excellent amenities including water on arrival and tea coffee etc replenished daily
What I thought was a wonderful idea is there's a carafe in your bedroom and you can take this to the water filters located on every floor..very innovative idea and one I wish every hotel had

Food wise..the choice and more importantly the quality was outstanding and extremely well cooked and beautifully presented.
You'll never go hungry here..probably ate too much!

Staff throughout are spot on and are more than happy to help in any way possible.

I travelled solo and found with the slightly smaller size of the RH Corona del Mar to be perfect as everyone was so friendly.
Finally I would say this hotel is perfect for singles and couples alike.
Just perfect and have booked twice for next year.

Another visit this month again to this wonderful hotel and extremely professional staff. 16 December 23 December…..2025.. corona del mar Benidorm…… I can not understand why anyone would write anything negative about this lovely hotel….yes we all differ. But my past experiences staying here I have nothing but praise. Food. Rooms management and all staff I have nothing but huge respect for you all. I have stayed here now quite a few times this time I am introducing my partner to hotel corona del mar John has never stayed here before and I fully appreciate he will be absolutely be over the moon to meet such professional staff who all work so hard to make our stay here feel like home..we booked a twin sea view room they are so well decorated and extremely clean.. you can not wish for more staying here..we are both in our 70s and really look forward once to visiting hotel corona del mar. Says a lot I’ve stayed here numerous times. Now am bringing my partner to….ignore negative reviews staff here will make your stay so worth while…

Stayed at RH Corona del Mar with my partner for 7 days from 25/11/25. Our second time at the hotel and it did not disappoint. Absolutely love this hotel and a great location opposite Poniente Beach if this is the area you prefer ( we do). We were half board and found the food really good as it was on our previous visit two years ago. We stayed in a standard ( non sea view ) room on this occasion which was really nice - didn't bother paying for a sea view this visit as don't really sit on balcony at this time of year. We were in room 114 which actually had a partial sea view. Beds are very comfortable. Now to the biggest asset to the hotel - the staff! Every single member of staff, from the ladies who clean the rooms, reception, restaurant and bar staff are fantastic. Really enhanced the holiday. A variety of entertainment on every evening from 9 pm which we enjoyed. Thankyou for another superb stay - we will be back.

Hi there this is our fifth year at this hotel always a very good holiday ,but this year they had a new animation guy who’s name is David his personality and energy was outstanding lifting the holiday to a new level brilliant keep it going 👍

This is the best hotel we have stayed in having been to Spain many times over the years. The staff were outstanding in dining room, bar and reception. Rooms were serviced daily to a very high standard. Food lovely, plenty to choose from. We had a very relaxing holiday and will be back soon .
