We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. The location was one of our favorite things about the resort. Being right on the beachfront and having a beautiful ocean view from our room made the experience even more enjoyable.
The customer service was excellent, and housekeeping did a fantastic job making sure we always had fresh towels and linens while keeping the room clean throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the warm temperatures of the pools and lazy river, and the hot tub was a nice bonus. I especially enjoyed the DJ playing music in the pool area, as it created a fun atmosphere. It was also convenient having a small restaurant right by the pool where we could easily purchase snacks, food, and drinks throughout the day.
Another thing we appreciated was the ample parking available across the street, as well as being able to walk to nearby shops and restaurants. The added security of needing a room key to access your floor through the elevator was also something I appreciated.
The complimentary breakfast included with our reservation at The Rose Room property across the street was another highlight of our stay. The breakfast was delicious and served buffet-style, with a variety of options that changed from day to day. The waffle maker was definitely a guest favorite, and there always seemed to be a line for it.
What really stood out, though, was the staff in the breakfast room. Ms. Hagar and Ms. Tina were professional, accommodating, attentive, and incredibly friendly each time we visited. They did a wonderful job making guests feel welcome and created an atmosphere that felt comfortable and inviting, almost like a home away from home.
The only things I wasn’t a fan of were the bathroom layout and shower. The sink being located outside of the bathroom was a little inconvenient, and quite a bit of water accumulated on the bathroom floor while showering. I think thicker shower curtains could be a simple solution to help prevent that.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and appreciated the location, amenities, service, delicious breakfast, and beautiful beachfront setting.
Room very clean. Nice resort and pool
Friendly staff. Brenda in rose room very pleasant and friendly.
The Rose Room is great for breakfast. Just make sure you are in there by 10 AM. They do have nice pools. And very good TV
We have stayed at this hotel before, but stayed in the suites, not the Noth tower. The suites are great. The are clean and comfortable. The North tower were not as good. The room door was extremely heavy and took both of us to get the luggage unit through! The dressing area sink stopped up and before we left the kitchenette sink did also. My bad, I did not report it.
The beds were comfortable enough, but the covering blanket and sheet were scratchy.
We let a day early. I purchased the stay protection and am about to file for the refund on the night we didn't stay.
Close to every thing
The beds was very uncomfortable
Very close to the beach and the outdoor pools and facilities were nice. Lovely to have a small bar area for drinks and snacks. Could be nice to have live music or something.
The construction was a real drag.
All the amenities and closeness to the beach
Just a great place.. I stay there every year
Nothing…. Everything was good
I communicated with the resort about the bedbugs. I also emailed the manager pictures of bikes that I received. No one has tried to get in touch with me. Will be contacting someone to see what can be done about this.
Nice property
They charged me an extra $125 for pool towels. I do not recall seeing any notes about having to return pool towels to a certain location. The towels were all in our room. $25 a towel they kept…rip off!
Beach and restaurant convenience
The construction was undersold compared to how much was actually going on. It went all through the night and was very loud at early morning hours.
All the pools
Small registration area
This property is advertised as a Best Western resort, but it falls far short of what most travelers would expect from a resort experience.
I booked an ocean-view room, only to discover that my “view” was largely through a maze of other guests’ air-conditioning units. The noise was constant—HVAC equipment, traffic, and people at all hours. There was nothing peaceful or relaxing about the environment.
The room itself felt dated and poorly maintained. The bathroom had low popcorn ceilings, the furniture was mismatched and worn, the wood finishes looked tired, and the mattress sagged noticeably. The pillows were uncomfortable, and the sheets were so worn they felt paper-thin.
To make matters worse, there was a loud party raging at 3:00 a.m. When I called the front desk for assistance, I was told there was nothing they could do. That response was incredibly disappointing and left me feeling completely unsupported as a guest.
The staff I encountered during the day were pleasant enough, but unfortunately that was the only positive aspect of my stay. And the cleaning staff was very kind and polite.
After many years of travel, I can honestly say this ranks among the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I would not stay here again and would strongly encourage others to look elsewhere.
we really enjoyed our beach view.. and we really enjoyed the pool..... Loved how everything we needed was in walking distance... and breakfast was very good..... i loved how we was greeted when we entered.....
there was nothing to complain about. the whole trip was wonderful..... looking forward to coming back to visit..... a great place for the family
The view from our balcony was beautiful.
Beds were not very comfortable! We stayed in a 2 bed suite and the space near the window and ac unit was very tight as well as the space between the 2 bed and closet not enough room to open closet doors.
