Great stay, but bring your walking shoes.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. Fresh towels and sheets, friendly staff.

Cons:

The breakfast was decent, not great. I didn't want to do any driving in Galveston, so the walk to attractions were a bit long from this hotel.

A nice hotel at a reasonable price, in a top location.
Pros:

The location is very good, being just set back from the main road and almost opposite one of the piers. The room was very nice and well appointed. Staff very friendly.

Cons:

The breakfast was pretty average and at the busiest time there were not enough tables. The pillows were small and uncomfortable.

Spring break with the grandkids 2026
Pros:

CLEAN! This place was by far the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. It even smelled clean and for being near the ocean, that is a huge plus. During the day, you saw employees working to keep it that way. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

The breakfast. There was no meat....none. At minimum, please add a sausage gravy to the table to go with the eggs and biscuits. Not everyone can do all the packages pastries and sweet cereals.

Cons:

Room was adequate, beds not the most comfortable. Bathroom had some obvious repairs that were not professionally done. Floor of bathroom not cleaned behind door--obvious when using toilet with bathroom door closed.
Air conditioning barely adequate--it took a while to get room cool and dehumidified. Noisy AC. unit. This hotel DOES NOT HAVE CENTRAL AC. Just through the wall unit. Balcony was nice however.
Breakfast crowded, long line. I chose to just get a coffee and leave. Ate elsewhere.
Price was much higher than usual due probably to Spring Break. I was not there for Spring Break, but to stay one night prior to boarding my cruise the next day.
Overall Adequate. overpriced compared to my previous stay in galvestion at another hotel that was MUCH nicer.
