Spent a glorious week at Centara Kata Resort. It is value for money. Staff was friendly and professional. Food was delicious. They accommodated my gluten free requirement and Chef was available daily to ensure no mistakes were made. Two great theme shows offered - cabaret and thai dancing in the week. Rooms are neat and beds are very comfortable with a lovely balcony looking onto pool. They have a quiet pool for adults to swim and 2 family pools available with a pool bar. Happy hour for cocktails 16.00 - 18.00pm every day with tasty cocktails and nice variety offered. 15 min walk to beach or free transport provided on the hour. Great place and experience overall.
Das Personal ist nett und bemüht, die Lage gut. Besonders das Personal beim Frühstück war sehr nett und die Köchin hat wunderbares Ei zubereitet. Das Zimmer war groß und recht ruhig, obwohl es eine Baustelle vor meiner Tür gab. Dadurch da ich nur morgens und abends da war, hat mich dies nicht gestört. Es gibt einen Shuttlebus, der die Gäste mehrmals täglich zum Strand bringt und abholt.
Das Hotel befindet sich in einem renovierungsbedürftigen Zustand, als ich ankam gefiel mir die Sauberkeit im Bad nicht. Schimmel im Bad wurde überstrichen, mit dem Auge klar zu erkennen, habe versucht es mit der Kamera einzufangen. Allgemein wurde das Zimmer schlecht gestrichen, Farbreste nicht von den Amaturen entfernt. Sauberkeit kommt auf das Personal an, manche Putzkräfte reinigen besser als andere. Es gab sogar ein Yoga Angebot, allerdings von keinem Lehrer, der Erfahrung damit hat. Den Kurs, als jemand der Yoga macht, würde ich auch für umsonst nicht wieder machen. Es gibt benutze Flip Flops anstatt Hausschuhe. Ich würde an der Stelle lieber komplett auf dieses Angebot verzichten.

The only little pointer is the guys at the pool bar should treat all guests with the same quality of service ie if they tip or not.
I normally would tip at the end of my trip.
Other than this I would highly recommend and would be returning to a Centara property for our annual holiday in 2027.

The location was very beach only about 10 minutes walk. The staff was always courteous and helpful. The breakfast choice was disappointing the choice of food was not very good. The was slightly varied. The room size was good, room facilities were good
The tea and coffee making was available they only leave you 2 tea bags you have request more and then would only give 2 more.
On the hall my experience was good and I would recommend the resort.As this was our first visit to Tahiland
I loved the property and the facilities were great. Slightly dated but nice nonetheless. The staff were the best part of this place! They were genuinely nice and helpful and very professional. I would comeback for the staff!
The lights in the rooms were lacking. The pool hours were not late enough!

Venäläisiä jonkin verran kohteessa, käytös vaikuttaa ilmapiiriin esim. aamupalalla ja altaalla. Hotellialueella järjestettyä ohjelmaa ei markkinoita riittävän selkeästi, esim. altaalla olleet vaahtobileet ja illallistapahtuman ilotulitus jäi meiltä kokematta.

Kids & Family Friendly Hotel. The main pool was in front of our room, which was fantastic. A special thanks to the Muay Thai instructor - he was amazing.
The staff were outstanding throughout our stay. The manager, Nancy, personally welcomed us upon arrival and made every effort to accommodate us with a room as quickly as possible, especially after noticing we were traveling with a child.
She continued to follow up with us, and the next day kindly arranged a move to a better room, recognizing that our child is a teenager. Nancy was always warm and approachable, greeting us with a genuine smile and ensuring we felt comfortable reaching out to her for anything we needed. Her guidance and support truly made a difference in our experience.
