Don’t be surprised by unexpected charges.
Cons:

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel.
The room was extremely dark. Forget having a balcony — there was barely any natural light at all. The window faced an internal courtyard/air shaft, so practically no sunlight entered the room. It felt gloomy and quite depressing. The room was clean enough, but the air conditioning worked very slowly, which made it difficult to cool down and properly air out the room.
We also had an unpleasant issue regarding additional charges. At check-in, the hotel initially tried to charge us an extra fee because the dates of our reservation had previously been changed. They showed us the earlier messages as justification. However, those messages mentioned only a total additional amount and did not state anywhere that this amount was supposed to be charged separately for every night of the stay.
After we discussed this at check-in, we were told that everything was fine and that there was nothing further for us to pay. However, when we checked out, the issue was brought up again and we were once more asked to pay the additional charge.
I objected, and after around 15–20 minutes of discussion, they eventually agreed that I would pay the additional charge for only one night. So we did manage to reach an agreement, but the whole situation was unnecessary and unpleasant, especially after we had already been told at check-in that there was nothing more to pay.
The location is reasonably good and the cleanliness was acceptable, but overall I did not enjoy my stay and would not particularly recommend this hotel. The atmosphere, especially in the room, felt very gloomy and soulless.

Pros:

The staff was sooo lovely!! It’s really rare to have such a good welcoming reception. Also everything was perfectly clean and the beds were super comfortables. Our rooms were showing on the inner yard we didn’t hear the noice of the street. The hotel has a close metro station and a bus station that’s 4min away (with buses that bring you to the airport).

Cons:

The sliding doors in the bathroom that wouldn’t damp the noice.

Loved our stay here.
Pros:

Excellent location. Walking distance to Gothic area, la Rambla, port. Metro station is 100m.
Very friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Cons:

A little noisy from traffic in the street view room. But it’s to be expected. It’s busy city.
