Cons:

Did not have coffee maker in room. Was told BW no longer provides them. Had coffee downstairs.

My son broke his leg so it was a last minute reservation and we appreciated an easy check in due to our circumstances.
Pros:

The room was clean and the AC worked amazing.

Cons:

Located next to Secrets so it was super busy late at night, police and yelling drunk people. Not many staff on duty, but check in was easy.

I was left with almost no money on my vacation because of this hotel
Pros:

The location of the hotel itself was nice. It was a little bit away from the boardwalk but a short driving distance from the inlet.

Cons:

The property charged me twice when I had already told them I paid through booking.com.
I tried to show my receipt and was told he was “figuring it out” and didn’t need to see my receipt. I was told many stories as to why my card was charged but the final reason was booking.com never sent my payment over.
Instead of letting me call booking.com to sort out my payment they just decided they would charge me twice and not tell me, leaving me with almost no funds to spend on my vacation.
I had to spend my one full day there on the phone with my bank, the fraud department and booking.com.
No one tried to make the situation right or take ownership in their part of the situation, there was no compensation, i was just told “we refunded it, it’s booking.coms fault because they never sent the payment over initially so we did all we can do.”
At first my money was going to “be back in my account by midnight”. Then when it wasn’t in my account the next day I went to ask them about it again and then it changed to “7-10” days. Later to find out my bank said they never saw a return pending for that transaction at all.
I didn’t think “figuring it out” at check in meant that he was just going to charge me again after I said I paid and tried to show a receipt.
If someone has said they already paid, even if you don’t see it, I don’t think the right thing to do is just charge them again without their permission.
So I paid for two nights here to spend half of my time trying to sort out their mistake.
Not to mention it wasn’t very clean, there was left overs in the fridge from the previous guest, old food behind the tv dresser and hair in the bathroom tub.
