Last Minute Booking And Happy To Have Found This Hotel.
Pros:

The hotel was very well presented, with plenty of sofas and comfortable chairs . The bar and restaurant areas were fresh and modern. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Lovely rooms, brilliant value, and the added bonus of a fridge in each room.

Cons:

No issues or complaints about anything.

It was ok not great
Pros:

I went today to use the spa facility as a last minute plan. Waited ages in reception no one came so I had to walk through and I paid when I had finished. Was worrying thinking anyone can just walk through and not pay.
The pool area is cute and calming I found, just a shame there’s no loungers by pool if you wanted to relax because there is space. There is an uncomfortable smell lingering thou in the area, and in the relaxation lounge and changing rooms. Would be nice to have some refreshing smells going around. Changing room have no private cubicles for changing, that
was main issue so not sure if I can come back.

Pros:

Currently staying here after travelling up from London unexpectedly due to a family emergency, and I honestly cannot praise the staff enough. I’ve had to keep changing and extending my stay while dealing with a very stressful situation, and every single person has been kind, understanding and genuinely helpful throughout.

The hotel itself is beautiful — full of character, spotless throughout, with lovely gardens that almost make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The cleaning staff are excellent and everything is kept to such a high standard.

The food has been lovely, and what really stands out is the atmosphere. There is always a good vibe around the place, people enjoying themselves, music, laughter — it feels warm and welcoming rather than just another hotel.

Under difficult circumstances, this place has been a real comfort to me, and I’m genuinely grateful for the kindness I’ve been shown while staying here.

Pros:

All the staff were friendly, which made my stay comfortable.

Cons:

The refrigerator was not cooling at all, which made it difficult to store food. Also, the electric kettle is very old, so I would appreciate it if it could be replaced.
