It was good particularly the wedding but the health and safety I picked up and hygiene of the place needs urgent attenti

The event hall and the rooms were good enough

Cons:

The receptions was smelling including the breakfast place, there are lots of works to be done to make it standard. The carpet are old and smelling of dust. The breakfast was never a value for money, it has to be upgraded, the cappuccino I made was the worst ever which I abandon and the coffee I made the jug was not hot and all the equipment has pattern of stained water. Management needs to spend money on the corridor and the general renovation of that hotel it’s never ever a 4 star in all fairness.

Staff was friendly and mostly helpful

Cons:

There's was like a knocking clanking nose in the wall behind the TV that kept happening regularly and kept waking my parter up.

The light on left side the bed is loose and the spot light wasn't working so felt like it was unsafe.

The TV was having issues with the Internet so I called up to reception. The guy just kept saying there was a dedicated WiFi it was already connected ti but he wasn't understanding what I was saying nothing was loading or streaming. So could only use live TV which was useless for us.

I had to clean the main shower head myself as the water wasn't coming out of most of itso I had to scrub the limescale out which I find terrible for a hotel and spa.

Not as good as before
Pros:

The staff are fantastic 👏

Even though the menu has changed the food was still lovely 😋

Cons:

Have stayed here in the past to make use of the spa, it has been down sized, no hot tub any more, the swimming pool was never that big but now its even smaller 😏 there were 5 people in there and when us 2 got in it was packed. Its no longer a swimming pool more a dipping pool it was also very warm and so murky you could not see the steps properly.

A very good hotel!
Pros:

Very good property, cleanliness & helpful staff. The family rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was really delicious and hospitality was very good.
