El ambiente y el personal

La struttura è molto accogliente, adatta a tutte le età, con una cucina internazionale di buon livello. Lo staff, nel suo complesso, è molto gentile e disponibile. L’animazione è presente, ma non invadente. Le camere venivano rifatte e pulite in maniera puntuale e soddisfacente.

Un hotel excelent, servicii de înaltă calitate, mâncare excelentă, gustoasă și variată, băuturi doar de calitate, personal amiabil, curat peste tot – foarte plăcut impresionat!

This has been our fourth visit to Valentin and it just doesn’t disappoint. We visited in May and couldn’t wait to come again in July. It’s been brilliant.

The hotel is fantastic and atmosphere is simply something else and I really think this is what sets it apart from other hotels. ALL staff (restaurant, entertainment, bar, cleaning, reception, maintenance etc.) are very well trained to interact with guests and create a consistently welcome and friendly feeling. The managers are consistently moving around the hotel to check on quality and ensure things are running smoothly. They too greet and interact with guests which is special.

The entertainment team are simply wonderful. The girls are doing a fantastic job and it’s actually great to see the progress they’ve made since May(I remember watching Matteo training them on how to do the mini disco dances!); they are clearly more confident and are doing a super job at engaging both children and adults in various activities. They remember names quickly and are so friendly.

There are a range of fun activities for all people (sports, bingo, Spanish classes, yoga, bingo etc) and so many guests get involved - this is down to the entertainment team and they should be praised! It’s always great to see the pool activities - we love doing them or sometimes just watching them from the bar. A shout out to lovely Laura who we just met this July; she is phenomenal with my young children and excellent with the teenagers. My son adored her. She is simply a natural at her job.

The bar food is top quality. The chefs there do an excellent job - so many options and so tasty.

The buffet is also great and offers a wide range of options: lots of lovely fresh fruit, yoghurts, hot English breakfast options, porridge etc. the lunches and dinners follow different themed nights which makes a nice variation. Lots of tasty options and it’s clean, run smoothly with lovely staff who welcome you upon arrival and are constantly clearing tables, setting them or putting new food out. We particularly love Lucia who we knew from last year and who always greets my son.

The beach bus is a great part of the hotel and allows you to travel down to Son Bou very quickly. The bus driver is a gentleman and has always helped me by taking the baby’s pram off me and loading it on and off.

When you speak to other guests, it’s so apparent that so many are returnees. It’s been so nice chatting to families we met last year - it feels like a home away from home.

We have had such another great visit and can’t wait to come again- I’m only jealous my parents are visiting again but without my children and me in a few weeks’ time!

A special shout out to the amazing Ana who is the definition of a hard worker with her great sense of humour- my mum adores her. Jose - who upon hearing another waiter take my mum’s order - interjected in Spanish and informed his colleague that she only likes a bit of gin! My mum understands Spanish and couldn’t believe he remembered that… Nora who is simply a diamond- she is so friendly and seeing her father come to visit her was wonderful. Robert with his friendly and charming attitude. And so many more: coral, Ednaldo, Lorenzo, Juan Manuel.

The staff really make this hotel special. We can’t wait to visit again next year!

Went as family of 4 children aged 10 & 15.
Upon arrival, 10am, our room wasn’t ready so we were able to store luggage and we went to eat at the pool bar. Food was okay.
But what struck us first was the great atmosphere. Sara was just starting aqua aerobics which half the guest joined in. She knew lots of the guests by name and certainly brought the energy!! She was amazing the whole holiday, as were all the staff. My children who aren’t ones to join in were made to feel really comfortable and included. They didn’t want to leave the hotel all week! My husband got involved in all the adult activities, basketball became very competitive lol I did the SUP yoga which was so relaxing.
I did want to go exploring which wasn’t something the doorstep (there isn’t anything really walking distance in the heat) but the hotel bus was great. Once in Son Bou there is a lovely beach and some nice bars and shops.
From there I got the bus to Mahon which I could go anywhere on the island from. Bus's were cheap with air con.
There were not many excursions advertised but we didn’t book through a big tour operator so maybe that was why.
The water park appropriate for my children’s age was temporarily closed so missed doing that.
We were B&B and decided just to pay for dinner & drinks as extra €113 per day. We then just had some drinks and ice cream during the afternoon. The all inclusive is worth it if you are big drinkers but we found this way worked out for us.
We had an apartment in block D. It was dated and I have stayed in 3*s better but it was big, clean and beds were comfy. The sofa bed was 2 singles and fine for my older children. They are renovating the hotel a bit at a time.
The restaurant was the 4* bit. Lovely decor. Great food. Attentive staff. Couldn’t fault it.
Evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss depending on what you like I guess, but better than most.
In a nutshell, if you want a relaxing family holiday this is the place for you.
If not hire a car so you can explore easily.

Valentin Hotel una meraviglia!! Tutto è curato nei dettagli e pulito egregiamente,la camera spaziosa e un letto dove ho dormito da Dio,con lenzuola di un cotone fresco e liscio come seta. lo staff sempre disponibile e sorridente con i clienti. Il cibo ottimo, cucinato alla perfezione e di qualità e ogni sera c'era una serata a tema con incluso lo show dopo cena, dove i ragazzi ti intrattengono con la loro bravura. Animazione diurna presente ma nn invadente. Comoda la navetta da e per la playa con un mare caraibico e ricco di pesci x fare snorkeling.Due settimane meraviglioseeeeeeeee. A presto
