CDH Hotel, La Spezia

The hotel has a brown & white striped front.  One can park in front of the hotel
to off load luggage.  Parking is available in the hotel’s detached garage.
We were directed to park in an assigned space. Parking was 5 Euros per day.
La Spezia is a hilly town, the “front or upper door”allows easy access to La Spezia’s Castle, via funicular. To access the city’s main shopping and museums, use the hotel’s ground level exit.  The room was well appointed, spacious and modern with good lighting and the staff was very accommodating  to our needs-like extra towels, pillows, & improvised second luggage rack.  Breakfast was an amazing array of pastries, fresh fruit, salad making material, fruit juice, conveyor toaster, yogurt & jam station, prosciutto cotto,  salami, cheese, but, (sorry), we do not recommend the eggs.

Cons:

The eggs at breakfast. Take them off the menu.
