Would not recommend if there are other options available.
Pros:

It was in a great location. Close to Six Flags, Wal-Mart and several food options within a few miles.
The beds were comfortable and linens were clean.

Cons:

There was an odor when you walked in. I noticed there was paint chips from the tub on my feet when I was showering. The hotel showed a pretty good breakfast online but did not meet that picture. The waffle maker and pancake maker were not working. There were no cups for the coffee.

I have not yet received the return of my deposit, and I see no reason why it should still be withheld.
The hotel has a strong smell of damp, mildew, or wet dog that is noticeable as soon as you enter the building. It is unpleasant and, in my opinion, unacceptable. Although the hotel appears reasonably clean at first glance, the persistent smell suggests otherwise.
Our room was also missing its smoke detector, with only the mounting bracket remaining. This is a serious safety concern.
Breakfast was extremely basic, and both the waffle and pancake machines were out of order. Looking at previous reviews, it appears they have reportedly been broken for years. Even the limited breakfast selection was not replenished promptly, leaving items unavailable for guests.
The coffee machine in the breakfast area dispensed only hot water instead of coffee, and to make matters worse, the coffee machine in our room was also broken.

I would NOT recommend this hotel. It was disgusting and not worth the price.
Pros:

The only good thing about this hotel was that it was close to Six Flags and easy to get in and out of.

Cons:

The hotel was nasty. The public areas smelled like sewage, and the room was only slightly better. There was obvious mold and mildew growing on the shower curtain and tub. The continental breakfast was minuscule, with most of the appliances broken. The staff was nice, but hard to understand and slow or unavailable.

After the yellow jacket incident the staff made sure to move me to another room. After that the stay was comfortable.
Pros:

It was very convenient to where I was attending my business.

Cons:

The only thing was there were yellow jackets in the light fixture in the bathroom. Once I told the property manager they hurriedly removed them

Comfortable, clean and cozy
Pros:

The only issue was there was an extra $60 taken outside of a what I paid on Booking.com. Front desk said its for deposit it will go back on card so we'll see. Other than that my stay was pleasant.
