Tan Hotel - Special Class

Great hotel with everything you need with excellent service from the staff. Highly recommended.

The staffs provides excellent service but the penthDryer about to fall from the wall. Vandalism on the bathroom door. Moldy smell of the shower.

DO NOT take a room on the top floor!! Specifically rooms 401/402/403. Risky in rooms 301/302/304. Even the second floor poses its risks of getting no sleep.
Although this hotel has a restaurant space on the ground level, they have opted to put the breakfast room on the top (5th) floor. The reasoning is that it has a view of the city and Bosporus, which it does, hidden behind a slough of not-so-pretty rooftops.
What they’ve effectively done, however, is sacrificed at least 6 good rooms, for paying guests who want to sleep, in favour of a breakfast room with tiled floors and wooden chairs with nothing to dampen the sound.
People, I cannot begin to describe how loud it gets. Although the location is perfect, and the staff mean so well, the no sleep factor makes the Tan Hotel a terrible choice.
Also, it you have hotels.com perks, like free drinks at the property, forget about them. There’s no such thing.
There’s also a very weird protruding spout in the toilets that, if you sit “wrong” will assault and sully your privates.
Lastly, although breakfast is served until 11, please see the pictures of what’s left at 10.

Nice hotel in a cracking location

Rooftop view amazing, staff very helpful, polite and attentive. Upgraded to a suite upon arrival at no extra cost. Excellent location within walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Sultanahmet Square, Grand Bazaar. Lack of lighting in the room. Highly recommended.

So room was a bit small and a little expensive later i explored hotels next to it for better prices but overall good

Hotel had a great breakfast. Room was modern and bathroom nice.

Everything was better than expected from the check in to hospitality shown from the staff. Great location and good breakfast

All the staff were very friendly and helpful and looked after us well but special thanks have to go to Muharrem and Resul who were fantastic and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Very good boutique hotel in the heart of Old Town, walking distance to all major attractions. Surrounded by food and drink options. Tram stop only one minute walk. Turkish breakfast offering. Would recommend

I traveled with the family. The family room was spacious and nice. The staff were super helpful. Breakfast at the rooftop was excellent with amazing views. The best thing was the location - close to all the tourist attractions! We will definitely stay here again without hesitation!

I only have one complaint about my stay, the view from my room; everything else made me overlook it.
The staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Everyone at the hotel was helpful, friendly, professional and efficient. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was pretty standard for mediterranean diet. The view from the terrace was pretty good since is partially affected by nearby buildings.

This trip truly made me fall in love with Turkey!

Very centrally located, close to the big mosques and the bizarre. Excellent views from the roof terrace at breakfast. Airport transfers great and front desk friendly and efficient. Air conditioning and room excellent. Great coffee shop across the street

Convince

We had a great stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The view is spectacular and it is fairly quiet. We would have preferred to be able to turn the air on but the unit had not been switched to cool yet so that is our only “complaint” if we had to find one. In all, the location is amazing and the support staff are all wonderful.
