Spectacular design(exterior and interior), room is spacious. Amazing view of the lake/fjord with mountain at its background. Downtown is just 3km away from hotel, can easily access by Uber or Taxi.
Staffs are friendly and helpful.

Very good hotel - couple of things - while some good options for breakfast, the scrambled eggs were soupy and not warm - neither was the bacon and pancakes. I had dinner a couple of times and it was good. Wi-fi only in the main building, no tv in rooms so don't be surprised. Close to town - nice room. The team members were helpful and nice.

Eco-tourism is great in theory until you realize there are cheap radiators that make loud banging noises the entire night. I slept 4-5 hours on average here because of these noises and the fact that tours start around 5-6am.

I asked the hotel to fix the problem on the first night and no one came. The next night I complained and someone came but didn’t actually fix anything/know how to fix the problem.

I was told I’d be given some sort of compensation for the inconvenience but that was just lip service as then management refused to be helpful.

This is not a luxurious experience.

The location is beautiful, situated across from water and mountains. The hotel experience was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodations were spacious with a nice lodge atmosphere. The weekend menu and service were impeccable. However, the weekday evening buffet offered the same food every night without any option to order from the menu. The other drawback was the internet, which did not work in my room, and was not very good even in the lounge area and restaurant. My experience was otherwise very good.

We enjoyed our week stay at Remota. The employees were kind and helpful. The restaurant on site was great, including the breakfast buffet. We liked that it was slightly out of town, an uber or taxi was only 2-5 USD to get to town if you didn't feel like walking. We would recommend this stay.

Superbe hôtel!

The views from this property are amazing. It feels remote and private. The natural wood features throughout the hotel and rooms are beautiful. There was clearly special care taken to ensure that the hotel blends into the sacred landscape. The rabbit colonies that live on the property were such a special treat to view. Staff were incredibly friendly, helping us set up a last-minute horseback ride. The food was delicious. Windows and views abound! Would love to come back to visit. Muchas gracias a todos!

Staff are very professional and pleasant to work with. Room was spacious and clean. Food was good as was the service in the restaurant. Would stay here again.
