La Flora Khao Lak

La Flora is ideally situated right on the beach, it has an excellent infinity pool that wraps around the property and encompasses the submersed pool bar
There is a floating pier for ease of access to the boats and catamarans for the various cruises and day trips offered
The staff are very friendly and attentive no tasks is to large or to small for them. On site restaurant provides good quality food with a wide variety of dishes to suite all
Tastes and cultures.
The hotel is conveniently close to the shops and local restaurants and cafes to taste the delights of Thailand
Including an excellent coffee shop shop off premise that belongs to hotel
We took advantage of the 3 day wellness programs offers at the La Vita Sana again staff where thoroughly professional, friendly and experienced in individuals needs Note this is included in certain packages offered by the hotel.

We had a pleasant stay. The staff was really nice and friendly, always welcoming us with a smile. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and contain a large variety of options.

Unfortunately the kids pool area was closed due to maintenance for several days in a row and there was no aircondition in the inside kids playground area.

We had an unplanned extended stay but there are definitely worse places to be stranded! We had a first floor poolside room which was lovely and spacious and well laid out with a huge comfy bed.

Grounds were beautifully maintained and the beach was beautiful. The sunbeds were a little close together but it wasn't problematic for us. Pool area and infinity pool were absolutely stunning. We usually do adults only and were a bit concerned about previous comments about lots of children, but it was absolutely fine.

We ate there a couple of times, including the lobster buffet and fire show and weren't disappointed. It's a bit more pricey than going out, but you'd expect that.

Staff were all lovely, but particular mention to Meow at the beach restaurant, June who looked after our room, and Suzy and Palm on reception, who were great with our ongoing room extensions.

We'd definitely return.

We had a great stay at La Flora Resort in Khao Lak and can definitely recommend it.

What really stood out was the exceptional service. Every single staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. It created a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay.

We stayed in a Deluxe Double Room with breakfast, which was a good choice. The breakfast was varied and of good quality, offering everything you need for a nice start into the day.

There was a small issue with a dripping air conditioner in our initial room, but it was handled perfectly. The staff reacted immediately and moved us to a new room without any hassle. This level of service really impressed us.

Overall, a wonderful stay with excellent service and a great vibe. We would happily return.

From the time of arrival the staff running La Flora were always there to help. Our room was comfortable with all the extras you would expect, the location is exceptional with sandy beach and warm sea, plenty of room in the pools that are right around the complex, food was good, plenty of sun beds, all in all a great place to stay, we had a week in Singapore and a week here, which was a nice balance, can recommend, also family friendly...

The best location at the see. The rooms er very fine and so clean all over. All the staff are very sweet and helpful. We will come back

We stayed at La Flora for 6 nights in Feb 2026 and had a wonderful time.

On arrival we were upgraded to a Seaview room on top floor. The room had two large beds pushed together, as well as a window seat/bed which my daughter loved.

The room was clean, with fresh bottled water provided daily. We were on top floor and it felt nice and quiet during the night, with no noise disruptions, except for the few thunderstorms 😅

The hotel is located on a beautiful beach with plenty of sun loungers both bu the pool and near the beach.
The pools were lovely, with shallow areas and jacuzzi seats in each.

The hotel is only a short walk from Amy restaurants, shops and a large market. We enjoyed going out every night and experiencing the hustle and bustle, which was never too much and very family friendly.

During our stay, the hotel put on a evening event to celebrate Chinese New Year - it was fabulous, both the food and the entertainment, we all really enjoyed the fires how and the visit from the dragons.

We ate at the restaurant a few times and the food was lovely. Iced latte was fantastic and a daily treat for me.

If you like freshly BBQed sweetcorn, there is a little stand just behind the restaurant cooking all day, each sweet corn is just 50 baht and was delicious.

We chose this hotel based on the reviews on TripAdvisor and we're really pleased with the choice.

This was our first stop on multimeter holiday and later into the trip we met other couples who stayed at La Flora and they shared our opinion that this is a fabulous hotel.
The atmosphere in the hotel was very relaxed and perfect for enjoying the wonderful weather.

I would definitely return to this hotel and would recommend to friends and family travelling to the area.

Just returned from 2 weeks at La Flora. We stayed in block E and the room was excellent with a huge comfortable bed,a good shower and balcony and a great addition was a large fridge with a freezer compartment. There was 1 health and safety issue as the sliding door to the bathroom covered draws and the area where the kettle was and could easily be opened when someone was making coffee.
The hotel is situated on a nice sandy beach and very near many good restaurants, shops and the market.
Breakfast was good but eggs were fairly cold unless you asked for 1 to be cooked in front of you and impossible to cut bacon with a knife.
Main problem, as many people have said is sunbeds are very close together and frontage at beach not large enough for number of guests and little room for further sunbeds around the grounds. People were also putting towels on sunbeds at 6.30.
As with all hotels prices for food and drinks is 2 to 3 times more expensive than local restaurants which I never understand as many more people would eat and drink at the hotel if prices were reduced.
I would recommend a visit to Coconut beach and the bamboo rafting trip.

Excellent service and facilities. The staff in all departments were very helpful and overall a great visit.
We look forward to returning next year

Lovely place! A few things didn't work that we expected working, but the hotel have high quality in general.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Perfect location by the beach. Staff was friendly and spoke good English. Breakfast was excellent. Facilities were clean.Evening shows entertaining.

La Flora is a great hotel with a good location in Khao Lak. There is direct access to the beach, where there are sun beds. Sometimes hard to get a bed but mostly succesfull. The hotel has also many good pool areas.
The hotel is located in a quiet area and there is a good atmosphere. The staff are friendly and service minded. The area is kept nicely clean and the rooms have a fine standard with daily cleaning.
We enjoyed our stay.
La Flora is definitely recommended.

Lovely place clam and quiet place (great for relaxing), good variety at breakfast. Great beach service. Great location beach is paradise. Local for short walk to seven11 and bars and reataurants. Market is great to go around shop and eat. Had swim up room - amazing. Great little biscuit left every day. Thank you Banks and his team

We stayed in a swim up, which is super relaxed no stress with your own sun beds and fresh towels every morning before you even wake up.

Due to the situation in the Middle East we had to cancel our trip to Dubai, but with help of the hotel staff we could extend our stay in La Flora and were even offered a nice discount, allowing us the complete our holiday in a perfect place 😍👍🏻

We had a great time at La Flora Khao Lak.
We had a swim up room, so we could jump in de pool any time we wanted.
Clean up rooms every day, new towels, fresh water bottles etc.
The staff at La Flora are all very friendly and they helped us enormously with extending our stay here due to the war in the Middle East , because of our flight cancellations.
We are very grateful for that🙏
