Pros:

The positives of this hotel are that it is located in a nice area, where it is quiet. You don’t hear much of any traffic at any time during the day. The bedding is also plush and very much to our liking. The bathroom was well stocked with liquid hand soap and other nice touches. The room is a bit on the dated side though, even if it was impeccably clean and decently maintained. The club lounge saw some updates with the seating since the last time we were there. But the food underwhelmed compared to previous visits. And they stopped carrying soft drinks there, which was unfortunate. Be sure to know that there is a parking fee of $15 per night, which we were well aware of when we booked. They put an excessive hold on the credit card for incidentals, which far more than I’ve seen at any hotel to date.

On the positive side, the front desk staff was responsive and helpful. They assisted us when we had various needs, and that speaks well of this hotel. Overall, we found the Sheraton in Rockville to fulfill our needs well.

Location, Location, Location
Pros:

The location is optimal. The property itself is clean and has a multitude of amenities. The staff including housekeeping is exceptional. The housekeeping staff is so attentive that I felt the urge to leave a tip.

Pros:

The front desk staff were very unhelpful with me and my family. I tried to tell her that me and my husband have not used Marriott Bonvoy in a long time, but she made minimum effort to find our account on the system. Also they charged us an incorrect smoking fee of $500, when nobody in my household smokes. Also I tried to contact the manager and still no replies.

Cons:

The front desk could it have been more customer service friendly, show more hospitality, and treat us with respect.
