Between 26th Feb - 5th Aug we will be embarking on a £13 ft transformation of our hotel. It does mean that things might feel a little different to normal during this time - and there may be some alternative routes or temporary diversions in place – but rest assured we’ll still be delivering the same fabulous experiences, such as our award-winning breakfast and the chance to unwind in Burleigh Springs Leisure Club.

A bit impersonal and lots of cleaning up needs to be done clearing tables etc they were left for so

Great use of leisure facilities but room was too hot. Be mindful when booking during hot weather
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Had little time to enjoy it but this was on us being pressed. The choice was quite broad. Bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the use of the leisure facilities.

Cons:

The room was very hot and there is no AC. A small fan was provided but with just a small window available, on the roof of the building and with the amount of carpet and soft furnishing in the room, we had quite a baked night with little sleep.

Good choice if visiting the university
Pros:

Location to where we needed to be. Clean with helpful staff. Restaurant was good with reasonable choice and prices.

Cons:

Parking was not great - too few spaces and they had a conference on so there were a lot of cars double parked making exiting tricky. Also rooms were really stuffy/hot with only a small fan to help as windows didn’t open very wide

Good location, good facilities and comfortable
Pros:

The property was easy to find. In the main it was a modern clean hotel. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use any facilities as in the bar restaurant and leisure facilities, but all looked nice.
Staff on arrival were very helpful with regards to making it possible for an early check in (fee was £20 which I though reasonable)

Cons:

The bathroom wasn’t as pictured, was old and need of an update (not sure if there is refurbished and non refurbished rooms) but ours was supposed to be an executive room, but was dated with a bath with over bath shower and old shower curtain that didn’t stop any water coming off you and flooding the floor.
Although when we stayed it was warm weather, the room temperature wasn’t that bad, although even with it turned to off the radiator was still slightly warm.
Personally as a coffee drinker it would be nice to have a coffee maker/pod machine along with kettle 😉

Wonderful conference facilities but accessible room had faults
Pros:

Polite helpful staff and wonderful conference facilities but our accessible room was too small and the door was very tight for my wife's wheelchair. Shame really because the wet room was perfect.
