Excellent location;reasonably comfortable room;very unappetising buffet breakfast; wouldn’t return.
Pros:

The location was perfect

Cons:

There is no lift - not ideal if you’re carrying a heavy case.
Constant banging of bedroom doors from early morning. Maybe a polite notice asking guests to close doors quietly would help.
The non-greeting from the member of staff on check-in duty on arrival, who seemed put out at having her packed lunch interrupted! I was asked to pay for an extra tea bag!! I didn’t!

Cons:

Matratzen unbequem, Feuchtigkeit im Bad, mehrere Spinnenweben im Raum verteilt, keine WC Bürste, kein Netflix oder ähnliche Apps.

Fabulous stay.
Pros:

We've stayed here 4 times now whilst we have been in Loughborough and it's continuously brilliant.
Very convenient for the centre, lovely restaurant on site. Absolutely spotlessly clean and comfortable and always great value for money.

Cons:

The beds are a little hard for our liking so we always ask for a mattress topper which they are always obliging.

Pros:

I visited for a conference and this was perfect location for that.
The hotel was lovely and clean.

Cons:

The beds were extremely uncomfortable, we had a twin room. When we sat on them it was like sitting on a brick, there was no give in the mattress at all. Difficult to get a decent night sleep.
The tap in the bath was also leaking quite a lot when changed over to use as the shower.

Worst nights sleep!
Pros:

Close location for what I needed

Cons:

Staff on arrival were really rude and dismissive. Staff in the bar didn’t seem to want to work waited over 5 minutes for anyone to serve and on the other occasion the person at the bar disappeared without serving to get someone else who didn’t arrive for another 2/3 minutes.

There was a horrendous clicking / knocking sound in the room that kept me up as it happened every 45 seconds or so.

The sheets were too heavily starched, like sleeping with A4 paper!

A world away from my visit last year..
