Rude stuff, food poisoning at dinner
Pros:

The hotel is OK, and in good location.

Cons:

The staff was rude and patronizing. One evening we had dinner in the hotel and somebody from our group got severe food poisoning.

Hotel de cuatro estrellas? para ser de cuatro estrellas lo más importante es poder descansar bien y eso pasa porque los colchones sean buenos. Y no lo son. Te hundes en la cama y no descansas bien.

Very good option in Dubrovnik
Pros:

Hotel offers good installations, big breakfast buffet and is very close to a beautiful promenade in Dubrovnik.

Staff provided always great service and hospitality.

Cons:

Typical downside of big hotels, like busy elevators and restaurant during rush hours. You might be aware of this and manage your schedule accordingly.

I would like to report an unacceptable issue that occured during our recent stay at the Grand Hotel Park in Dubrovnik.

On our return after a morning out on 6 April 2026, we found our safe opened and our belongings removed from the safe. I immediately reported it to reception. The two people on duty discussed it amongst them, and then admitted that they removed it. Our belongings were already in a sealed envelope, ready to be couriered to someone else.

Apparently the guest before us left his wallet in the safe, so hotel management thought it a good idea to remove everything from the safe and send it to the previous guest, WITHOUT DISCUSSING IT WITH US, WITHOUT OUR APPROVAL. WHO GIVES THEM THE RIGHT TO OPEN A GUEST SAFE AND REMOVE THEIR BELONGINGS. UNACCEPTEABLE!!!!!!!!

If we arrived 15 minutes later, our belongings would have been taken from our locked safe illegally and sent to someone else.
