Peaceful but hot night in central London!
Pros:

It’s in a fab location. Close to the action but very peaceful at night.

Cons:

It’s an old hotel, so has no aircon. They provide hi-tech fans. But my stay was in May when it was 13C outside and in my room I needed the fan on all night and was sweating like a hostage. The rooms really hold their heat. At the height of summer you’d stand no chance.

Great for a weekend stay
Pros:

Cosy spacious room. Very cute decor. Great location off Marylebone High Street.

Cons:

Not enough power outlets, none by the bed and none in the bathroom. Staff seemed a little confused

Fantastic location and service

Excellent location and great service. Old school hotel with character. We would stay here again.

Great location, very tired and medium comfortable
Pros:

Location is perfect, staff were great, the shared lobby spaces were great (excellent music and volume), bathroom toiletries were a highlight, very nice fan for the room.

Cons:

All London hotel rooms are small but this was kind of a joke. The room was SO warm. We were in a corner with no ventilation. Our friends were in another room and had a fan in their room, which prompted us to ask for one. The hotel didn’t volunteer this without our asking - terrible.

We were on the 3rd floor and the stairs were very shallow while the elevator was very slow but most troubling was the faulty light that strobed. It was seizure-inducing and despite my raising within 10 min of our arrival (while staff were in the elevator with us), this wasn’t addressed at all. Very awful standard for caring for guests.

Great location let down by lack of temperature control in the room and one member of staff
