Great place to stay in Newport
Pros:

My favorite place in Newport! Great location, peaceful garden, great staff, beautiful rooms, breakfast with the best pastries. We stayed in 2 different rooms which were both beautiful, very clean with clean bedding, robes and towels. Nicely decorated rooms, also nicely decorated common areas. If you are looking for a decent accommodation in Newport, this is the place. We loved it and will be back!

Enjoyable stay in a cool old home turned into an Inn.
Pros:

It was a beautiful home in a great location. Unfortunately we were not able to spend much time there. But we really enjoyed the breakfast and the free candy bar!

Amazing!
Pros:

Everything about the property is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful. The house itself is beautifully maintained. The backyard is wonderful and the location is perfect for walking in town.

Cons:

Nothing not to like. Maybe a few choices in the morning for savory bakery items and juices.

Great Stay in Newport
Pros:

We visited the Marshall Slocum Inn for Memorial Day Weekend 2026 and had a great stay, the weather wasn't perfect but the Inn was everything and more than we needed! Mark one of the innkeepers met us at check-in and gave us so much information in the area with suggestions from food to what to see, We stayed in the Snuggery Room which was comfy and clean including the spiral staircase which led to the bathroom. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Cute & cozy
Pros:

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Alles war super sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und die Betten extrem bequem. Das Haus hatte eine ganz tolle Terrasse und wir haben es sehr genoßen. Das Frühstück war klein aber fein, nachmittags gab es sogar super leckere Keckse und Kaffee den ganzen Tag !
