Friendly
Staff was great.
Good location, good value.
Some rude fellow customers. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired; cereal, boiled eggs, small pancakes from machine. More of a morning snack.
Convenient location, size of room, decent pool.
Could hear everything going on in adjacent rooms, hallways, and outside from room.
I did not stay there due to them having bugs.

Clean
Great hotel with clean rooms, excellent service, and a convenient location. The staff was welcoming and made our stay enjoyable. We would happily come back!
Worker's were polite and helpful, pool was freshing
Bathroom floor was wet, tub had hair in it. Couldn't connect to the wifi, TV remote had to be replaced, had to get a don't disturb sign freezer needed to be dethawed to much ice build up, cobwebs in the corners of the room
Scott checked us in quickly and efficiently. His friendly manner set the tone for the next two days. We appreciated the friendliness of all the employees with whom we interacted.
Our room was a standard king, and it had everything we needed even if we did not use it all. We did use the fridge but not the microwave. The TV had our favorite stations to watch in the morning and to fall asleep to at night. The bed was comfortable and we got two nights of good sleep. We only heard our neighbors the first night, but it was not the fault of the hotel. Second night was peaceful throughout.
The hotel was more pricey than other Days Inn in which we have stayed, but the location sets the price, and it was convenient to Niagara Falls without being VERY expensive, crowded, and noisy.
Room: We had a standard king room. Most everything worked well. We appreciated the black out shade. It’s the best we’ve ever seen or had! One bedside lamp was not working, and the closet door stuck. We had two bath & 2 hand towels with 3 washcloths. We did not have a sign to put on the door, so while we were away the first day, the trash cans were emptied & we then had 2 washcloths, 4 bath & 3 hand towels. It was odd, but it all worked out!
Area: This is a peaceful neighborhood. We felt safe here. It was a short drive to good places to eat. It was only 20 minutes from Niagara Falls area, where we spent our days.
Food and drink: Breakfast was good, and had variety. BUT getting it could be tricky especially when 5 or more were trying to get what they wanted. The pancakes were constantly churning out, and were picked up as soon as someone could get to them. I enjoyed one of the three cereals, one of the four yogurts (in fridge with milk, butter) and a hard boiled egg each morning. They had several types of bread and a toaster. Hot and cold liquids were separate (coffees, tees, hot chocolate and four different juices). What we had was delicious.
Other notes: We did not see an elevator. We were given a first floor room, which my old, arthritic knees appreciated. Parking was good. The pool looked inviting, but we did not use it. We also did not use the washer and dryer, but almost put our wet clothes in the dryer after we got soaked on MAID OF THE MIST. Ice machine was appreciated!
