Clean and friendly

The room, the staff, the pool. The location was great. We were out for the evening so weren't disturbed by the outdoor concert going on across the road, which would be very convenient for concert- goers.
The food in general was poor, both in the restaurant for lunch and the breakfast. I would have expected a freshly prepared hot breakfast, made to order, with table service. The hot items were greasy and not at all fresh. It was a breakfast you would expect at a 3 star hotel, so not good value for money. The staff were friendly and competent, but seemed a little inexperienced.
It should be noted on reservation that an outdoor concert was taking place across the road and the noise level would be extreme.
Very clean hotel, the staff especially in the bar and restaurant are outstanding. The food was delicious also. Excellent vegan burger option also on the menu.

There was not enough parking spaces. The manager found us a space eventually but wanted us to park on the road at first.

During the day every thing was very good, however on return after our evening things were very different
Service in the bar on return was appalling, table staff did not take orders, on approaching staff behind bar after a fifteen minute wait was rudely advised he was not bar staff. This is not the level of service I expect at this hotel.
