We were then taken to show us our alloted room, which to our surprise was in a very terrible condition, the lights were not working, unclean bath tub & centre table, most surprisingly the room *DID NOT HAVE AN INTERCOM TO REACH OUT TO THE RECEPTION OR HOUSE KEEPING STAFF* Which is very ridiculous.
Looking at such bad conditions of the hotel we immediately wanted to get out of there ASAP. When asked for a refund we were made to wait for *2 straight hours* & we had to raise our voices to get back our hard earned money. Hadn't we raised our voices our the _Miser_ management had no intention of returning back our money. The hotel is very poorly staffed & the management has literally kept an illiterate watchman as their front desk operator.
Please shut your property down as it is now nothing but a haunted land.
The property is in a state of neglect. We had previously visited this resort back in November 2012 and had a great experience then. Unfortunately, this time, we came with our whole family and it was a huge disappointment.
We were among only five guests (with three families being part of our group) in the entire resort during a festive weekend, which says a lot about the current state of their hospitality (if you can even call it a resort).
Reception Area: Starting with the reception area, there was neither a fan nor AC, making it uncomfortable from the moment we arrived.
Room Quality: We booked executive rooms, but they were in terrible condition—far from what one would expect.
Resort Facilities: The so-called resort had nothing noteworthy except an unmaintained swimming pool.
Breakfast Service: When we asked about the breakfast included in our package, we were told that since there were so few guests, they wouldn’t offer a full buffet but only made-to-order items. While they did accommodate our breakfast suggestions, the quality was subpar.
Restaurant Condition: The restaurant was in such a shabby, old room that it looked like it hadn’t been opened in days. It was uninviting and definitely not a place where you’d want to sit down and eat.
If you’re used to a certain standard of quality, do yourself a favor and avoid this place—you’ll just end up wasting your vacation.
Worst service,the hotel lacks basic services as they don't have proper staff.They don't have proper room service, TV is working as they take four hours to recharge the dish.In the morning I told them to clean my room but after returning back by 7PM room was cleaned and after giving them many reminders regarding the room cleaning they started blaming each other,then linen provided was not clean.I will not visit this property again not will recommend this property to anyone
The services here are exceptional and welcoming! Dimpi offered us great services! This was my first time visiting India and it happened to be my first hotel stay in India as well. I’ll definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting this area.

We meet himanshu sir ,rakib sir ,and chef Roy,Sachin sir,swarop sir they were very polite and showed us a great welcoming. I'm very much lmpressed with staff service also we have done breakfast over here.The presentation and taste of each and every food was really good and excellent .The rooms were very neat and clean.overall I'm very much impressed.
We have Cambay Family Holidays Membership and Generally when we have Foreign Delegates, we make accommodation with CAMBAY PROPERTIES at GANDHINAGAR & AHMEDABAD. Well, this time, May 28 to June 01 we are highly impressed by Cambay Gandhinagar Resort Staff, so politely from Booking itself, they very much willingly serving made our stay comfortable. Some Members may not be happy with Cambay by some whatever be issue from Hotel Owner Management but the STAFF presently serving are highly dedicated at both Cambay Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad. I had stayed during my recent visit to gandhinagar ,I had come to attend training at IITE.
IITE had arrange accommodation at Fortune Inn Haveli, Gandhinagar and it was one best hotel to provide food and accommodation .I would to special thanks to chef Jagat ,Faizur and Suman for their warm hospitality.
Awesome hotel. Had a wonderful stay. Staffs were awesome would like to appreciate kevi, subarna, sweta and vaishali for their great assistance. Really made us felt amazingly comfortable. Will definitely visit again.
We happen to visit this place on an occasion. And I must say that we did not regretted. Place Was beautiful and food was excellent in terms of variety, taste and quality. Love to visit again this time also.
First of all the location and setting is very good. The architecture and surroundings are great. The rooms were neat and clean. Food quality and service were also excellent. staff were always supportive and smiling-always willing to help you. Overall a must visit from my side if you are visiting Gandhinagar for a Holiday or Business Trip.

Staff are very very welcoming when you first arrive and personally show you to your room asking if you have any questions and showing you around.
The restaurants are lovely , plenty of choices. The room service is also very extensive and quite quick.
Breakfast was absolutely excellent.

Very dirty hotel, please don't visit, it's really dirty hotel not even basic facilities, during covid time this is first hotel where everyone was swimming. They didn't not provide basic doormat towel.
We stayed at the Cambay with a large wedding party the 13th and 14th of February 2020. We were at a loss when we arrived at the property. Don't let the photos on their website fool you. This place is a disaster. The spa, fitness room, pool, golf club and golf course are all severely worn and very poorly maintained. The rooms are dirty and worn and there is NO service at the hotel. This property might be a 2 to 3 star for native Indians, but if you are coming from any other country that has decent hygiene standards, this property wouldn't qualify for a 1 star hotel. Seriously stay away from this place.
The place has an old worn out look and needs painting.
The reception and room service are managed by non professionals.
The rooms are poorly maintained with many of them lacking safety latches/locks
Hot water supply is erratic. The shower doesn't work and so is the flush, with need for manual flushing after collecting water in a bucket. Taps are shaking and leaking.
Stained closets in the toilet.
For complementary breakfast there is no adequate staff and they lack courtesy.
The rooms and villas are widely spread out with one being forced to strolley luggage across quite a bit of distance including a distance filled road where stray dogs give you company.
In summary Cambay has a hyped up rating which is far away from reality and those who book accomadation should be willing to put up with these inadequacies and inconveniences.

I stayed at cambay sapphire and the experience was good. The staff members from the front office & Managers were there for our assistance round the clock. Would recommend ! They have a pool side restaurant and a golf course which was well maintained.
It was wonderful trip to fortune in haveli gandhinagar we had spent 15 days in the hotel duriing our stay we found all the hotel staff is sincer and help ful they had keep asking me about food that we are enjoying or not

We have been here for 4 nights , during a business trip. Stay was good , rooms were large , worth paying the rate but could have been maintained in a better way. And can be kept clean linen , bathrooms were not clean and not in proper way. Looks like renovation work is happening and full of dust everywhere. Food was ok .
