Very close to everything
Pros:

The rooms were checked & made up daily by very friendly staff.
Nothing was too much trouble for the restaurant staff from breakfast to evening meal

Cons:

I could only get the temperature down to 17 which was still too hot for me (a personal thing only)

Poor room, disturbed nights sleep. Not a great stay

We have stayed at the Future inn several times. On this occasion we found the room very much below expectations, the carpet stained badly in several places, a large clump of black hair on the bathroom floor

On this occasion we found the room very much below expectations, the carpet was badly stained in several places, a large clump of black hair on the bathroom floor. Beds very hard and uncomfortable.The worst part of the visit was the early morning wake up call, from a large Lorry arriving at M & S behind the hotel at around 05.30:and proceeded to deliver its contents for the next 2 hours. Not the best experience, left feeling pretty tired.

Comfortable, welcoming and spacious
Pros:

Stayed for 4 nights, rooms were spacious and comfortable. All the staff we came in contact with from the house keepers, to front of house and to the bar staff were friendly and helpful. I was particularly impressed with the receptionist when we had an issue with our room card. The lady on the desk through and before resolving the issue asked for my id to confirm it was
Myself on the booking. I was really impressed with this and made me safe. A perfect stay and would recommend to anyone staying in Plymouth and it really is not far to the city centre and barbican area 20 minutes by car.

A fine hotel, but for what we paid for I would have liked better.
Pros:

Staff very friendly and helpful, especially the staff at breakfast.

Cons:

I reported that the TV in our room was not working, mainly it would not tune in. Generally, it would not be a problem, but I do feel that all rooms should be checked once a customer has left.
