AP Adriana Beach Resort

Really good hotel, a lot of things to do, the animation team are great and host loads of activities throughout the day. Buffet has a lot of options and all the staff are really lovely. Would recommend!

Location is massive and clean fit its size, cleaners are consistently cleaning daily. Rooms smells the nicest of all the hotel we have visited. Due to language barrier it may feel like staffs are not friendly but they have good values in our experience. Atmosphere is very good and amenities are well maintained.
My only negative review is internet which could be better but that’s a me problem not holiday experience one.

We are normally 7 day holiday people,but we stayed for 10.

The location is around 40 minutes from Faro airport.
The reception area was in pristine condition and the staff welcoming us was so helpful.
We stayed in the Annex area,so we had a buggy to take us and our cases.The driver helped us get them to the room.

The room was okay,needs a bit of maintenance,but okay as we was out most of the time.

We was about 5 mins walk from the main area of the resort.

Around 3.00,nibbles brought out plus hamburgers freshly cooked.

Alberfiera,is worth a visit during your stay Shuttle bus is €4 per person and has to be booked the night before.

The Beach,is unbelievable,l am not a beach person but we ended going there 6 times during our stay

Swimming Pool, excellent size plus they have an indoor swim pool, sauna's and a hydromassage pool

I will return one day,one of our best ever holidays

Fabulous entertainment team - you can’t help but laugh and have a good time. Smiley, friendly and wonderfully inventive and quirky fun activities. Daily surprise game was a treat 😆. Brilliant fun!

The activity team made the holiday, they were so much fun, they came up with some brilliant games and got everyone joining in with lots of laughter. They were also incredibly kind to all the kids and our days were filled with joy.

Brilliant holiday with just a few areas for improvement.

Very peaceful, spread out resort, but golf buggys to get around if needed. Bear in mind we arrived in low season and it did feel quite busy toward the end of our 10 days. Food was lovely and good quality. Even the desserts weren’t the usual tasteless rubbish you usually get at all inclusives. Drinks were great too, lots of choice. Staff and animation team very friendly. Location is stunning with the cliffs, beach and general nature and greenery. Nice walks. Beautiful sunsets. Plenty to keep everyone busy including little ones.

Our only real complaints were the cleaning service, timings and outdoor pools. Few times they missed our room and we had to chase them up. They definitely didn’t clean the floor or bathroom more than once during our stay. Often didnt leave enough towels. Other issue was timings. Dinner felt very late, especially for people with kids. Same with the kids disco. Only a handful of kids lasted til half 8. Seems a bit silly. Pools wise, just ice cold. Nobody went in. Slightly better as weather warmed, but come on, just invest in some pool heating!

Not necessarily the hotels fault but we got an influx of loud teenage sport clubs towards the end, meaning we were often left waiting for the chef to make more food after they took 7 slices of pizza or chicken each, having barged everyone out the way.

We are yearly attendees of the adriana over many years. Always around march - april time. Its finally time for us not to return as standards have slipped.

The location is great, beachfront, rooms are nice with lots of room. The hotel has the potential to reach its 4 stars however our experience this time was particularly bad.

The bar always had queues 7-10 deep because there wasn't enough staff serving and when there was, some of them would just hang around the bar not serving. People were very annoyed.

There was very little seating inside (30 or so?) which is needed during march due to it not being warm enough to sit outside. So people were sat on steps, floor and anywhere they could despite it being the main entertainment space. They do live music 7-830, then kids disco 830-9, live music 9-930 and then some sort of basic entertainment from 930 e.g bingo. The live music was good. Why would there be a kids disco at 830 within the only entertainment space, its far too late for the 2 kids that would get up and dance. People resorted to reserving seats with their coats whilst they were in dinner. One evening it caused a fight and the manager was less than helpful and did nothing about reserving of seats.

They only had 1 resteraunt open. The food was great and lots of choice however it cannot cope with the number of people. People were getting food and not being able to sit down because there were no tables free. The queues for food can be 15 deep between 630 and 830. They regularly stopped people going into the resteraunt to stagger, it made no difference to the dining experience.

The pool was a nice space but no tidying/clean during the day so bins were regularly overflowing for days with cups/litter around.

One evening our room wasn't made up, it took 90 minutes for clean towels to turn up.

I suspect later in the season when the other pool, restaurants and theatre are open the hotel can cope with the sheer numbers of guests but during this period it cannot.

We had an amazing experience here 😊staff so friendly, we got a great price for our time spent here, we will definitely be back.

Having gone to this resort in September 2025 for what was an exceptional holiday at an excellent hotel in an amazing location, we felt a short 4-day break in March to the same hotel would be a great way to break up the start of 2026.

The resort was a lot quieter than in September but it was still an outstanding 4-days.

We can't fault anything at all - food, cleanliness, atmosphere, entertainment, staff, value for money, customer service, rooms, location...everything was of an exceptional standard.

We are currently staying at AP Adriana Beach Resort for a 4-day break in March and are having such a lovely experience 😊

The resort is exceptionally clean everywhere — from the rooms and dining areas to the pools and the beautifully kept grounds. There is a really calm, relaxed atmosphere which makes it the perfect place to switch off and unwind.

All of the staff we’ve come across so far have been polite, friendly and very helpful. Service has been consistently good and nothing feels like too much trouble.

For an all-inclusive, the food has been surprisingly fresh with a great variety at every meal. The salads and buffet options are especially good and everything is well presented and regularly replenished.

The surroundings are also beautiful, with lovely landscaped areas, flowers and peaceful spots to sit and enjoy the sunshine 🌿

So far this has been a great little break and we are really enjoying our stay. It’s ideal if you’re looking for somewhere clean, peaceful and easy for a short getaway ⭐️

We had an brilliant week at the resort. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the food was amazing. As it is out of season the resort was not too busy which meant that there was no noise (the rooms are well insulated from noise) and there was room to spare if you just wanted peace and quiet. The location is fine if you want to stay on site, which we did, but a little out of the nearest town if you are looking to explore. It was only a short walk to the beach and if walking is your thing there are pathways all around the site to explore. Service was excellent all staff were friendly and happy to chat. We went as part of an all inclusive package and the value for money was excellent. Our stay was enhanced by the animation (entertainment team) who's enthusiasm and sheer energy was contagious Joao, Wesley, Tomaz. Geovane, Juliana and Laio worked tirelessly to keep everyone and amused creating a fun atmosphere during the day and night entertainment.

We had the most amazing time and a massive shout out to the entertainment team! 🙏🏼 Everyone is so friendly and give great energy to the place

My stay with the family was great, a big reason for that was that the Animation team made this very lively and fun the games where great.I want to especially Note that wesley thomaz and juliane from the kids club where really exceptional team members.

The transfer was just over 30 minutes, so not too far from the airport and then a golf buggy to your room which was nice.

At first I thought the hotel seemed a bit underwhelming and was a little run down. After a few days it grew on me as the location is great for the beach and it’s actually a decent hotel and has some nice grounds.

The staff are lovely and the food is great.

Water in the rooms the first day but was never topped up.

The food was great and fresh and a good variety each night. The bar is a bit understaffed but that may be deliberate to keep the drinks flowing slowly !

The animation team are so lovely and made adults and kids both feel very welcome. Particularly Wesley/Wally but all were lovely. All work long hours and always polite and smiling and positive.

We visited this resort in 2025 (and 2009 and 2011) in June for 7 days.
We flew with Jet2. The staff from ground level to cabin crew were incredible, efficient and pleasant.
I have read so many reviews recently and felt I needed to share our experience which was positive.
We went during term time so it was busy but we didn’t experience issues securing sunbeds for us as a family.
It is quite isolated so you would need to jump on a bus or car service to go into a neighbouring town- we didn’t do this as were very happy with the resort. There is a shop in the resort where you can purchase refreshments, gifts, inflatables etc- this served us very wel..
The sunset here is INCREDIBLE. The beach is beautiful but there are many many steps to get to it (and then come back up).
Room- we went for a Large Superior but it didn’t seem that large tbh and the balcony wasn’t that big but we had a lovely view of the sea so worth it 😊. Our rooms were always tidy, the housekeepers were quick, efficient and friendly.
The restaurants were fantastic, I don’t agree with the negative feedback re this as we found it to be a great selection for the whole week we stayed (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks). Fantastic selection of fruits, pastries and salads alongside meats, fish, as well as pasta and pizza etc. Our child has a nut allergy and we mentioned it to reception on check-in, who then arranged for us to meet the chef who was nothing but professional, helpful and reassuring. Anything that did contain nuts was clearly labelled.
The coffees from the machine – I don’t think I will ever taste a coffee like that, it was bliss ( and I remember it was like this from 2009 and 2011!)
The staff in the restaurant were amazing. Forever clearing up, smiling and chatty – they were all so lovely and kind.
The snacks in between meal times were tasty and hit the spot each time.
The entertainment crew- brilliant. High energy and always full of smiles day and night Games and competitions not just for the children (my husband won the darts comp🤣). The staff that collected the mess left by holiday makers around the pool were so efficient even in the scorching heat.
The only downside was the bar- it was very very slow and if someone requested a cocktail it was an even longer wait.
It was so lovely for us to come back and visit this resort again, we had such a wonderful time and plan to revisit again.

We had a great stay at Adriana Beach Resort. The food was consistently good, with plenty of variety at each meal and something different to try every day. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the beach was beautiful. A special mention goes to Gisele, Wesley, and the rest of the entertainment team, who were excellent. They created a great atmosphere at the resort and put a lot of effort into the activities and evening events.

We stayed at AP for 4 nights in Feb 2026. The hotel, room and the food area was clean. Overall very relaxing. The staff were welcoming, the services at the bar and snack bar was good. Entertainment team under Geovane was really good and engaging. Transfer service was available to and from the airport, although we used uber which was easily available, there was a shuttle service from the hotel in to town. We were on the third floor in our building, would definitely recommend some sort of lift service as it was difficult managing the flight of stairs with our luggage. Our daughter enjoyed the kids club and made a few friends too. Due to the time we went the outside pool was too cold to use. The indoor pool says it's heated but it unfortunately wasn't heated, but this didn't stop us from using the indoor pool, sauna and steam bath was in good condition and as a family we enjoyed our stay overall.

I have just spent a week at Adriana Beach, a nice enough stay but a lot could be improved.

Check in was efficient with helpful friendly staff, followed by a ride in a golf buggy to our accommodation. The accommodation was alright - Block Q. Decent location and nice views from the balcony across the gardens. Can walk to the second, quieter pool in a minute across the grass, or a few minutes on the path. This end has the table service restaurants and a bar. Five minutes walk in the other direction is the main pool, main restaurant, reception, gym, spa & where the entertainment happens.

The beds, pillows & sofa were all very comfortable. As the week went on, we noticed a lot of minor issues with cleanliness - marks on the walls, floor felt gritty and dusty most of the time, bedside cupboards were not wiped at all, bathroom sink worktop not cleaned properly, few ants in the bathroom, grubby curtains. Nothing a good clean and coat of paint wouldn’t rectify. Mini fridge was old and rusty - really needs replacing, especially if marketing as four star. Towels changed every day but not great quality. Same can be said for the beach towels, can swap for clean anytime but very thin and worn out.

We were very disappointed with the standard of food here. The selection consisted of bread, cheese, salad, grilled meat/fish, plain pasta with a sauce, fries, rice dish, random vegetables and then maybe one casserole type dish or paella. Lunchtime at the main restaurant, pizza was also on offer. It didn’t seem that much thought had been put into how you would make a meal out of the different items on offer. Breakfast had a decent selection and the dessert table was quite good but repetitive also.

Main restaurant often had zero bowls, cups or glasses and took ages to get replenished. There was often a long wait for the tables to be cleaned in between guests even when it was busy. The poor chef on pizza duties couldn’t keep up with the demand, it really needed two chefs there so one could be making the pizzas and the other slicing and putting them out.

The snack area by the main restaurant had issues with little black flies swarming around the drinks machines. It really needed to be cleaned more regularly. Soft drinks machine was out of order from the Saturday until when we left.

The Grill restaurant was open for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Can book for evening meal via the app. The Celeiro bar open for drinks, and Celerio restaurant can be booked for evening meals also. Both restaurants and bar are seasonal, which we discovered on Sunday as they were closed. Would have been good to get a bit of notice about that as we only discovered this after breakfast. So many people arriving to get drinks and lunch to find them closed.

We were a bit concerned about the hygiene at the Celerio bar. The wasps were out of control, and on numerous occasions we were treated to a cocktail with an added ant in the glass! Halfway through the week a new bartender arrived and was complaining about the wasps and said he was going to have a thorough clean so they wouldn’t be so attracted to the spillages.

Every time we spoke to reception they were very helpful. Staff in the restaurant were a mixed bunch, some excellent, others looked like they didn’t want to be there. There was no rush to clear tables or replenish items on the buffet that had run out. A few of the bar staff were simply rude - one walked out to take a call on his mobile halfway through making me a drink and didn’t return for five minutes. The porters were all a happy bunch, and would all say hello and give a smile as they were going about their business driving around in the golf carts.

There was no door on the disabled toilet near reception, rendering it unusable for those who needed it - unless of course you don’t mind having a wee with people walking past.

We wouldn’t return to the resort again, I’d question the four star rating, the outdoor locations don’t compensate for the low standard of food & the need to refurbish.
