Relaxing, provided a good spot to meet other family and friends for a couple of nights.
Pros:

Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and everything was "hot". The environment within and external was pleasing, enabling an afternoon or evening walk , in relaxing surroundings. It was a quiet location, so a good nights sleep was had by all.

Cons:

Signage to get into the car park - it wasn't clear, causing a trip around the campus attached, and a five minute delay to arrival time. Otherwise nothing to mention.

A conveniently located option
Pros:

Great location in the greenery of the campus. Breakfast was good with lots of options.

Cons:

The communal areas were very warm in the sunshine and the building itself is in need of some renovation.

Overall a very pleasant stay
Pros:

Room was clean. Public areas clean and tidy.
Restaurant staff very pleasant.
Beautiful grounds to sit in

Cons:

More of a critique than a dislike.
Would like to see complementary biscuits/snacks in the room to have with tea and coffee.
A choice of eggs at breakfast as not everyone likes/wants fried or boiled eggs

Great location for dogs, excellent staff apart from very rude check in guy
Pros:

Amazing location, beautiful grounds and perfect for dogs

Cons:

The check in reception guy was extremely rude, he ruined our initial experience, was incompetent, couldn’t find our booking and was generally really unpleasant. He didn’t apologise when he then found our booking. Despite this the other staff could not have been more helpful, just a shame you had such a rude person on reception
