My stay at this hotel was exceptional from start to finish. The location couldn’t be better — just steps away from a vibrant shopping district and surrounded by plenty of halal restaurants, all within easy walking distance. The cool breeze and occasional showers during my visit made the atmosphere even more enjoyable.A special thank‑you to Rosmary from the staff, whose kindness and professionalism truly stood out. Their warm hospitality made my experience unforgettable.
My recent stay at the Conrad Shanghai was absolutely magnificent, and it is easily one of the best choices you can make when visiting this city. hotel that places you right at the center of everything while providing top-tier luxury.
First and foremost, the location is unbeatable. The hotel building is spectacularly high and iconic—it is so prominent that you can actually see it from most parts of Shanghai, making it a proud landmark on the skyline. Because of this perfect central positioning, we were within easy walking distance to many of Shanghai's top tourist attractions, shopping streets, and cultural sites. It made exploring the city incredibly effortless and saved us so much time on transportation.
As a fantastic bonus for Muslim travelers or anyone who loves Middle Eastern cuisine, the surrounding have many, many Halal Arabic restaurants just a short walk away from the hotel entrance. Having such an amazing variety of familiar, high-quality food right at our doorstep made our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free.
Inside the hotel, the views from the high floors are breathtaking, and the rooms offer the perfect sanctuary after a long day of sightseeing.
The staff are excellent across the board—always greeting us with genuine smiles, handling requests with incredible speed, and going out of their way to ensure our comfort. A very special mention goes to Rosemary the chinese lady that speaks almost every lanugage even Arabic :), she truly went above and beyond for us. Her exceptional hospitality, warmth, to guest satisfaction made us feel so valued and welcome. She is an absolute star!

Bathrooms were not as clean as I hoped.
Shower head was clogged and water pressure was low.
Bedroom and bathroom fixtures were old and creaky.
I stayed at the Conrad Shanghai for a few nights and the service here is immaculate! Quick friendly service, good breakfast buffet with FHR, and in a convenient location with Nanjing street nearby. Rosemary stood out to me the most pertaining to my stay at the Conrad. She was very friendly in greeting me by the elevators and provided great recommendations for dinner nearby, communicating my requests instantly rather than having to go to the front desk, and treats all guests with the utmost respect. Given my experience here, I would stay here again and would recommend it!
The staff were absolutely wonderful. A special thank you to Leo for going above and beyond to help me secure an amazing room with a stunning view. I couldn’t have been happier with my stay. Thank you for making my short time in Shanghai so memorable — I will definitely be back! :)

We had a fantastic stay at Conrad Shanghai. The hotel kindly upgraded us to a beautiful room, which made our stay even more special. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The location is perfect, right next to the main shopping areas and within easy walking distance of many attractions. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options. The staff were also friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
Very modern, clean and in an amazing location. One of the staff there Rosemary who seems to remember what floor everyone stays on has been working here a few years and she definitely makes the stay very pleasant.

the staff espcialy a girl at the reception named aria was amazing kind and attentive offered a gift ordered a taxi for me to the airport, insisted on acomponiyng me and helped me with a package ....workers like that change a bad stay into a good one !
I was on the 43rd floor and my stay was nothing like last year when I had a magnificent time, the shower has been leaking under the floor and water was coming out through the floor wood panels ( u have a problem with the shower sealant or drainage) I did not inform the staff since I only had 2 nights and did not want to pack again and move but it really effected my stay wet socks all the time .... I put towels on the floor and started showering in the tub instead. I informed the staff upon my checkout for future guests.....
Our company has chosen for us to stay at the Shanghai Conrad when we are in town. The hotel rooms are nicely proportioned and always at a comfortable temperature. The bed is comfortable with a variety of pillows offered to cater to guests’ needs.
The gym is probably my favorite part as it’s quite spacious and it has plenty of gym equipment to get a good workout in. Really appreciate the 24hr access.
Staff is always very welcoming and attentive to our needs, offering to personally walk us to the elevators as as Ms. Rosemary can be seen taking care of the hotel guests. The front desk ladies and gentlemen are also quite helpful. Staff ability to speak English is a welcomed amenity.
