Pros:

The location was pretty close to the highway and gas stations, which made it easy to fill up in the morning and get back on the highway quickly.

Cons:

The wallpaper and paint were peeling because of a lack of ventalation for the steam from the shower. The shower curtain wasn't long enough to prevent the water from going out onto the rest of the bathroom floor. There was splattered blood on the wallpaper by the toilet. I find that alot of hotels are only surface level clean and this hotel falls into that category.

Cons:

I liked the facility till I asked them to go look for my Apple watch that showed on my app as being still at Hampton Inn! the response was "Yes we looked many times". However, the watch was stolen, but the room was not in use, so staff stole a watch that won't work.

Problem-Free Stay!
Pros:

The Hampton Inn & Suites Grove City is located in Mercer, Pennsylvania, right off Exit 113 on I-79. This hotel is minutes from the Grove City Premium Outlets and close to schools like Grove City College and Slippery Rock University.

This is an older-style Hampton property, but it is clean, has large, spacious rooms and is well managed and maintained. This hotel has an Indoor heated pool with a hot tub, a fitness center with a good blend of older and newer cardio equipment, free weights, and features a Peloton that anyone can use with the hotel's account or their own account with a free account.

My room was a large King suite with plenty of floor space, a refrigerator, coffee station, a separate sink and additional storage space. The wifi is a bit slow for my liking, but I was able to surf, check emails and do other general tasks. There is a premium Wi-Fi offer for higher-tiered members or for a daily fee.

Breakfast is buffet-style with a choice of hot and cold offerings as well as cereals, breads, eggs, oatmeal, fresh fruit and other items.

Overall, a problem-free stay in a well-maintained property close to highways, gas stations, restaurants, schools and an outlet mall.

Somewhat ‘Average’ (& Tired) Hampton
Pros:

I stay at a lot of Hamptons: some great, some fine and some we would never patron again. This Hampton was just fine. Check in went quickly and smooth. Our room was clean, but felt dated and tired. Plus, the AC unit ran the.whole.night and it was difficult to sleep. I turned it down and the unit continued to hiss. It only stopped when I turned it off. The room felt muggy. I gave this hotel four stars because there wasn’t anything explicitly wrong, it just wasn’t great. The breakfast was missing some options a typical Hampton would have. I will say this: nice work out facility and clean. It seems like this and lobby had been updated in the recent past. A fine stay if you need to crash for the night… but not the best Hampton out there.

Delightful stay
Pros:

Pleasant, clean, quiet and spacious hotel. Friendly staff who followed up immediately after our arrival to see if we needed anything. A large variety of breakfast food choices and plenty of space in the eating area. Nice size swimming pool and hot tub. Convenient to major highways but not right off interstate so quiet area. Overall great value.

An Excellent Hampton Inn
Pros:

We were here for one night in April 2026. Our room was clean, spacious and quiet. There was an ample supply of towels. The young woman at the front desk who checked us in was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn fare… nothing exceptional, but many good options. The hotel is conveniently located, and the parking area is large. If we were travelling in this area again, we would definitely stay here.

Pros:

Great location for the outlet mall. Great breakfast

Cons:

We were opposite a room that had a dog. The dog started barking at 5am. We had travelled all day and just wanted a nights sleep. We even paid extra for the suit so all the children could sleep well. The dog woke up the whole room including the children. I sent a message via the text, but the dog continued to bark. Eventually I got a message back, but the noise continued. When I spoke to the front desk I was told I would given some points for the trouble, but I haven’t received anything.
