No notice that there is a $ 75, nonrefundable pet fee which was Never mentioned. I have serious problems with this. Because.....
# 1 - There are chickens everywhere outside. Which means POO on all outside sidewalks and parking lot. There is no way to keep that from coming indoors on guests' feet though Staff makes the attempt to sweep sidewalks.
# 2 - $ 75 nonrefundable pet fee ?! Unlike the many chickens, our dog leaves no evidence of his stay. Inside or out. We were just back from an extended trip with multiple hotels stays (including another Hampton) and we paid $20. We understand different facility, different pricing But to be more than double the normal pet fee without notice from our "special request '' that we were traveling with small dog while making the reservation, to check in and check out, there was/is no notice of the exurbanite fee. Yes, we saw the small print that states a fee may be added, that is expected. But to charge that fee without prior notice at a facility that literally has chickens everywhere. Outrageous. We will not stay here again.

Delightful and welcoming even for our darkest visit.
Pros:

Clean, easy to access, room was spacious, pool was a hit after hiking to spread the ashes of a loved one.

Cons:

Parking was full, but that was due to the guests being high for the softball tournament in town.

The Roosters keep us up all night! No sleep and it made us miserable for my bday. I told them when checking out and they offered nothing but points or something. I was crying and frustrated
