A last resort for me.
Pros:

Central location

Cons:

Dated property. Shower drain was blocked, simple tho gs like no white sugar in a decent courtesy tray.

I would not stay here again.

The location was wonderful.

Cons:

There are many things I didn’t like hotel. Most importantly, there is very limited elevator service. There’s a flight of about 39 stairs to reach the reception desk k. The elevator from reception to our room was very small and in huge demand due to the large tour groups. In the room, the bathroom was incredibly small, with barely room to stand between the toilet and sink. The rug was worn and curling on a couple of edges. Some tiles on what seemed like new flooring were loose.

Clean hotel some areas a bit dated but ok for a short stay

Great location some nice retro detailing inside hotel , staff polite and informative

Cons:

We’d paid in full with a upgrade offered , the room was nice enough but don’t think we got the upgrade as it was a basic room, no slippers as promised , no coffee machine unless they were referring to the kettle and small room at top of the hotel , reception working solo so didn’t answer phone when we called to ask about not being able to connect to wifi so hubby went down to speak to reception.. we got ready for dinner in hotel we
Were told opened at 6 and menu showed good vegan options across all courses and an extensive choice of foods , when we got downstairs the girl on duty in restaurant said it’s not open until 6.30 so we waited half hour only to find out no vegan options as it was a buffet service (Saturday evening) and limited choices, one of the main reasons we booked was the food ! Lastly even although we’d paid in full beforehand we had to give a credit card and sign agreement incase of any damages to room during our Stay, I feel this should be mentioned during the booking process .

Pros:

Comfortable enough hotel in a very central location close to the town centre. Good value for money and more than satisfactory for an overnight stay.

Cons:

As with most Muthu Hotels, the decor is a little dated. But this is reflected in the price paid.

Good value for money and great location.
Pros:

Bedrooms were spotless, spacious and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Front and reception a bit tired and dated. Limited parking, steps at front not disabled friendly. Outside hotel very slippery when wet.
